Stanley $10 off $50 Father’s Day Promo

Stanley FMST21065 FatMax Rolling Tool Case Organizer

I already talked about some of this year’s hotter Father’s Day promo offers, most notably Amazon’s $20 off $100+ Bosch, Dewalt, and Makita sales. There are a couple of other worthy promos, such as $10 off $50+ Stanley tools.

I continue to buy Stanley tools for two simple reasons – they’re affordable, and some fantastic performers.

Take, for example, the Stanley 25 compartment organizers that I gushed about the last time this promo came around. They’re priced just right so that you can get 4 organizers for just over $50, or just over $40 after discount. Yes, yes, I know that Harbor Freight offers something that looks like these organizers, but their quality is nowhere near the same. The Stanley organizers are fantastic and definitely worth the investment.

Update: Pictured above is one of Stanley’s new tool cases. There’s another model that’s built without the wheels and extending handle.

There are many odds and ends that I buy every so often and heartily recommend. Their 4-in-1 screwdriver is one of my favorite mini EDC tools to recommend and buy for others.

Anyway, I figured some of you would be interested in the new Stanley promo. As with the other Father’s Day deals, there are some product exclusions (although I can’t see where), and eligible products must be sold and shipped by Amazon directly and not 3rd party sellers. Deal ends 06/21/2015.

So… what Stanley tools are you thinking of buying? I ordered a couple of new utility knives last week, as I forgot that there might be a Father’s Day sales event. Bummer.

That’s one of their newish tool cases: https://toolguyd.com/stanley-fatmax-tool-cases/ .

Not military grade, but definitely up to daily and demanding use.

Thanks for the info. I’ve used the Harbor Freight and like their sizing for lots of things, but would like something more substantial, especially for heavier items. These seem perfect. I find the larger size (10 containers) to be more useful. I store quite a few small, not frequently used tools in the HF, too, like my multitool, but would prefer a better box, so the stanleys are on my list. This is a great price with the discount.

I’m hoping the large 10 compartment and small 25 compartment sizes will stack together.

In one of the other posts a reader, Lu, wrote about using the lip on the side of this container and dadoing the sides of a cabinet to fit the lip and they slide out like drawers. I believe I will try this. I’ve made pull out shelves for other containers (like Lboxxes) but this sounds quick and easy. Here’s the other link explaining it

I keep hoping these things will help me get more organized. 🙂

My plan is to put a pull-out shelf on slides at a convenient height in the cabinet Lu described as a shelf to rest the Stanley case on. This is for when I’m looking for only one or two items in one of the cases.

I actually bought the same case as in the picture
In my opinion it’s is not as good of a case as one would think

The plastic tool holders are very narrow. The one tools you can fit in there are very small precision screwdrivers or very fine side cutters.

I tried to use it with 4 Wera sure drivers and a couple of Knipex pliers/cutters and they would just not fit. Nevermind my RJ45 network crimper

I bought it for its wheels and ability to take a beating. But tools storage is very poor in it.

Thank you. I’ve been eyeing this for HVAC work, and I’ll look elsewhere.

Those Stanley organizers are the only thing left I might want. Everything Stanley makes is pretty great, and I’d recommend their products. I have a smaller travel size socket set, and the quality of sockets is as good as anything I’d ever buy.

I still can’t get over their $3-4 per item sale last Autumn. I ended up spending like $70-80 on little $3 items cause they were so CHEAP, which was way more than I wante to spend. I gave nearly full sets to my dad and brother. I think it was a bag, set of screwdrivers, 3 chisels, tape measure, utility knife, blades, and something else.
