Stanley Black & Decker Merger Complete

The anticipated merger between Stanley and Black & Decker was finalized about two weeks on 3/12. I don’t think that the new company will start joint branding their existing product lineup, at least not anytime soon, but one thing is certain – they definitely need a new logo.

    Not that our own logo is very creative (yet), but for a company of their now combined size, I expected a little more. At least they have the Stanley yellow in there!

    Your logo is great, Stuart. It perfectly describes your website, has a play on words, and looks like it is carved from wood. I like it!

    Thanks! Eventually when I’m ready to roll out a new layout/look, I’ll work on the logo. But for the time being, usability and content must take precedence.
