Home Depot – New Tool Deals of the Day
Home Depot kicked off new tool deals for 1/10/23 (ending 3am 1/11), featuring Husky tool storage products, Milwaukee hand tools, Milwaukee cordless vacuums, Ryobi cordless vacuums, Ryobi hand tools, and automotive maintenance accessories.
There are a couple of other deals mixed in, such as a Dewalt 25pc mechanics tool set, Torin rolling shop stool, and a Milwaukee Packout tool bag.

Home Depot also has tool-related pro deals of the week, valid thru 1/15/23. These specials feature Milwaukee cordless power tool combo kits and bundles, seasonal special buys at reduced prices (such as the Shockwave bit set and Packout organizer bundle), Husky workbenches, garage cabinets, and shelving, and a couple of Milwaukee hand tool bundles.
The deals are worth looking at, but they do require some research. For instance, in a seasonal deal, the M12 Fuel Hackzall kit is $179 and you get a free HO 2.5Ah battery. With a deal of the week, you get the M12 Fuel Hackzall kit bundled with a HO 2.5Ah battery for $159. You get the same tools in a different configuration, for $20 less.

Don’t waste your time or money. All those DeWalt hand tool kits are nothing more than a cheap Stanley hand tool kit rebranded.
Sure they have a warranty, but if you’re constantly breaking the tools or the ratchets constantly lock up for no reason at all, and the tools rust just while sinply sitting in tjeir case, what good are is the warranty?

I want to jump on the m12 fuel hacksaw kit, but I’m confused about the kit choices. $159 seems like a good deal for tool + 2 batteries (plus yet another charger & bag that I don’t need). Stuart, why do you say the 2 options “require some research”?
