Home Depot Tool Deals of the Day 1-26-26 with Dewalt and Milwaukee

Home Depot has new tool deals of the day, featuring Milwaukee, Dewalt, Ridgid, Ryobi, with a focus on cordless power tool combos and bundles. There are also some Milwaukee mechanics hand tool deals and power tool accessory sets.

To me, it looks like Home Depot is still trying to clear out some of their holiday season inventory. They have the Milwaukee M18 Fuel hammer drill and impact driver combo kit, plus preselected free tool options at a deeper discount than you’ll find in stores.

There aren’t many surprises, but a lot of the deals do look to be good bargains.

Shop Home Depot Tool Deals of the Day

Home Depot’s deals of the day end at 3am ET 1/27/26 unless supplies sell out sooner.

Dewalt DWS780 12-inch Sliding Miter Saw

Lowe’s has a deal of the day where you get the Dewalt DWS780 miter saw with a FREE STAND for $499.

This reflects a seasonal discount on the miter saw, with the DWS780 being Dewalt’s flagship AC-powered 12″ sliding miter saw, and you get a folding miter saw stand at no added cost.

Typically, you can expect a discount on the miter saw or a free stand promo, not both.

Buy it at Lowe’s

Lowe’s says the deal ends 1/26/26 (unless supplies sell out sooner).

Earlier this morning, I used the Acme promo to buy a pair of Metabo Pig tanks (UA3810ABM) for $170.10 each instead of $189

I had to look those up, just for the name. They are in a different league than the very basic tank I had. Curious about reasons to get that rather than something like the Milwaukee that is currently on sale for $312 and can run non stop with batteries.

They are going to 2 different recipients – who both have cordless compressors (a Milwaukee M18 and a Makita XGT respectively). An intermediary tank can help smooth out the performance of a small compressor that otherwise not be able to keep up is the demand of a connected air tool. It can also be filled and used independently as a temporary air source – in places you might want to run a compressor.

Sorry for the off-topic post, but I just learned about an interesting new (to me) tool, which looks very useful but also appears difficult to source in the US: the “surface router” aka “surface shaver”.

I first stumbled across the Mafell PF 80 & its cordless cousin PF 80-18. Then I found the Metabo LF850.

These look very useful to me, not so much for removing surface finishes, but rather for acting as a flush-trim or “lip” router. The cordless Mafell is especially interesting because the guard at the front can fold up allowing you to work on tenons or rabbets. The guard on the Metabo is a bit different, it allows you to cut with the sides of the wheel but only to a depth of 0.006″, which means it would be great for removing surface finishes from interior 90 degree corners, but it is less useful as a lip router.

I’m curious if anyone knows more about this category of tool. I tried to call Timberwolf (US Mafell distributor) for more information but the gentleman who answered the phone sounded asleep and only said that they “weren’t available in the US”.

Is the Milwaukee mower on sale? Are you using it to dig out? If so, how is it doing with this much snow.
Any chance of a post on the snow storm and what blowers people are using?
