Acme Tools has a Dewalt deal of the day where you buy the FlexVolt brushless attachment-capable cordless power handle with string trimmer, and get a free pole chainsaw or edger attachment. So that’s $205 for the power handle, string trimmer, and bonus attachment.
Home Depot has Pro Special Buy Deals of the Week on Husky garage storage systems, workbenches, and select hand tools and accessories.
Lowe’s has Metabo HPT cordless power tool deals of the day.
Amazon has select tool deals, including a Dewalt 20V Max vacuum (tool-only, cordless-only model), Goodyear retractable 3/8″ x 50′ rubber hose reel, and more, but it’s mainly just non-branded stuff.
Home Depot kicked off their Spring Black Friday sales event, where there are loads of promo-priced tools and accessories, especially cordless outdoor power tools.
I visited my local Home Depot last week, and while the deals are decent, nothing caught my immediate attention as being an unbeatable bargain.

At the time of writing, the REFUNDME promo code works with the DeWalt string trimmer/free attachment deal. So you actually get the trimmer and attachment for $190.

I have not bought from them in some time, so I haven’t tested their shipping policies anytime recently – but like with other vendors sales – I’ll put what I want in my cart and see what the final price is before I click on “place the order”.

It looks like free shipping over $99.00! They don’t have a lot of banners showing shipping rates. Might very with items also.

With the Acme deal you get $15 off on $149+ But if you don’t spend over $199 (possibly after the discount?) you will pay their flat rate shipping – which will reduce your savings to under $9 off.
Amazon touts “free shipping” with Prime membership – but you need to check their prices which sometimes are not as low as others even after adding in shipping. Amazon really is just building the cost of shipping into their pricing. It becomes more apparent when you are buying items in bulk quantities – where Amazon seldom offers and discount for bulk buying – and other vendors may be significantly cheaper even when adding in the cost of shipping.
Where Amazon can shine is in their easy and often free return policy that may not be matched by other vendors.
A recent comment to a Toolguyd post – noted that ToolNut (as an example) may charge shipping and restocking fees for returns of unwanted items.

Regarding the Toolnut 15% sale. They offer 3 pack Packout tool stations. $119.90, $102.00 after 15% discount. You can mount the tool station on a wall mounting plate. Then also remove it and place it on top of A Packout toolbox stack. Then use it as a mobile quick access storage for drills, impacts.

I debated till the bitter end,and will wait on another deal.
