Amazon’s October 2025 Prime Day sales event featured a huge selection of tools and related home, work, and workshop products.
I’ve tried to cover the tool deals as extensively as possible, but there are always some deals I might miss.
I took a peek at our anonymous affiliate logs to see what readers have been buying. Here are the ones that stood out to me so far, and I’ll check back in a few hours.

I agree Metabo makes great nailers.
The framing nailer currently on sale is the HPT MR90AES1 which can drive nails with 0.148 shank diameter up to 3-1/2”
A 16d nail is 0.162-0.165 shank diameter and the HPT NR90AC5 will drive that shank diameter up to 3-1/2”.

The Metabo 18V 23ga pin nailer looks well priced (looking at random listings) versus the M12 or DeWalt. For a seldom used tool I think I’ll go for it. I like the little 18V HPT impact driver Stuart recommened a couple years ago. Well built and compact.

Gearwrench has like 35% off the 84 tooth ratchet sets right now. $50 for 3 fixed head chrome ratchets is a pretty good deal I think.
Stuart
Thanks! They usually have more deals for Prime Day. I didn’t see any notable ones, will check back after lunch.

I just got the 15″/13A dethatcher this summer (paid $210). I think the current sale price $144 is better than the one listed above $136 for the 12.6″/12A.
Was able to make multiple passes over a dead lawn to strip it down to dirt.

I purchased the Dewalt 5” random orbital sander kit, which included the relatively new and small 2Ah charger, DCB1102. While this charger is capable of charging the Flexvolt 20/60 volt batteries, I will probably never use it for charging these.
What I find to be curious, if not a bit annoying, is that six of my ten Dewalt chargers are capable of charging Flexvolt batteries, but of these six, none state so on the label. They are either printed with 12v/20v Max or just 20v Max. As a result, I have taken to printing my own small labels to make it quicker for me to know which ones will also charge my 60v batteries.
Big Richard
They should ALL charge your FlexVolt batteries. FlexVolt batteries charge in 20v mode, so any and every 20v charger should charge your FlexVolt batteries.
What 4 chargers do you have that do not charge your FlexVolt batteries?
Bill
I stand corrected.
I have four of the DCB112 which I mistakenly thought would not accept/mount my Flexvolt batteries from past attempts. I just verified that they do fully mount and charge a Flexvolt battery.
While recently making a list of all my various chargers and batteries, I went to Dewalt’s website to verify my thinking on the DCB112 and they do not list the Flexvolt batteries as an option. But by default, if all 20v Max chargers also charge Flexvolt batteries, the distinction is unnecessary.
Thanks for the clarification.
Stuart
I’m sure you’re not the first to make this mistake. That Dewalt labels some chargers as 20V and FlexVolt but not others is definitely confusing.
Their website is shamefully inconsistent, especially considering their parent company had over $15 Billion in revenue last year.
Stuart
As Big Richard said, every Dewalt 20V Max charger can charge FlexVolt batteries.
Not every 20V Max charger can charge 12V Max batteries – those fast chargers are typically marketed as “20V and FlexVolt” chargers. FlexVolt batteries recharge as if they were 20V Max batteries.
