We just started talking to Tools-Plus, and they shared some of their Black Friday 2018 tool deals. These deals are different enough from many of the others we’ve discussed so far, and so I figured they were worth posting about.
The following promos end 11/26/2018.

I don’t recall seeing Astro Pneumatic tools on sale anywhere else yet, although I admittedly didn’t look very hard. Astro is well known for their automotive tools and other such products.
We’ve only posted about Astro Pneumatic a couple of times, but there are a bunch of Astro tools on my “topics to post about” list, and even a couple on my long-term shopping list.

There are a couple of Empire level deals this season, but maybe there’s a certain product that’s not included. Maybe this 10% off Empire level coupon can help with that.

Tools-Plus has been recommended to me a couple of times, but I have been meaning to do a “secret shopper” style test, using the opportunity to buy a couple of Tajima tools. I decided against it, but I still want those Tajima tools. I was going to buy them anyway (at least at my earliest convenience); spending 10% less sounds good to me.

I’ve heard of Edge Eyewear and their safety glasses before, but since I wear corrective glasses, that pretty much means their products aren’t for me.
If you’ve used their products before, how do they compare against other popular brands, such as 3M?

While it doesn’t seem like a “HOT” deal, at $16 for this Milwaukee 5m/16′ tape measure, some retailers don’t even carry this version, and the first one that I checked that did has it at a higher price.

The 48-22-1998b is just one of the Milwaukee Hardline knives that Tools-Plus carries. What’s so special about it, aside from the discounted price? The “b” stands for “box,” which should be more “giftable” than the clamshell packaging the knives normally come in.

If you take advantage of Powermatic’s 10% off Black Friday weekend sale, which Tools-Plus is participating in, they’re bundling the Powermatic 422B lathe with a free Nova chuck bundle.

We bought from ToolsPlus before the Internet was a big thing. Their bricks and mortar store was close enough to some of our jobs that we’d stop in when we needed something.
