Uvex Bionic Face Shield

Over at Amazon, today’s deal of the day features a small selection of personal protective gear from Uvex and Howard Leight.

I’ve used several of these products, and can highly recommend them.

Uvex Howard Leight PPE Deal of the Day 01292019

Uvex Bionic Face Shield: on sale for $26 – The Bionic face shield is a more comfortable (but also pricier) choice compared to standard face shields. It also seems to be incredibly popular with TV and Movie prop masters.

Uvex Stealth Safety Goggles: on sale for $10 – While not my favorite safety goggles, the Stealth are comfortable and effective, and continue to be made in the USA. Personally, I prefer the larger Flex-Seal goggles, as they better fit over my corrective glasses.

Howard Leight Disposable Foam Earplugs, 200 pairs, 32 dB NRR: on sale for $17.50 – These are great earplugs – comfortable, and with care I can squeeze more than one use out of them, although that’s not recommended.

I’m buying a pack. I still have other earplugs in a bulk box, but there are times when I want to keep a few pairs in a toolbox or elsewhere, and a Ziploc baggie isn’t quite as convenient as individually-wrapped pairs.

If you prefer 3M, they have 200 pairs for around the same price.

Howard Leight Corded Disposable Earplugs, 100 pairs, 32 dB NRR: on sale for $15 – This option is for those who prefer a cord, so that you can carry the earplugs around your neck before or after use.

Howard Leight by Honeywell MP3 Earmuffs, 25 dB NRR: on sale for $22

Howard Leight by Honeywell AM/FM Radio Earmuffs, 25 dB NRR: on sale for $49.21

Deals end at 3am ET 1/30/2019, unless supplies sell out sooner.

I have the Uvex Bionic Face and use it for cutting aluminum in particular. It’s comfortable, durable, doesn’t fog up.

Howard Leight used to have an office in the building I worked at years ago. We used to call him Howard Hairpiece. True story.

I ordered the face mask to replace the cheapie one I have. Looks great and if it doesn’t work out, I can shoot youtube alien videos, monetize them, and start to make some money on my hobby 😀

There is still a deal on the Visor….$16, but I don’t think it’s antifog/scratch. Select the different options in the dropdown and you can see…hard to pass up at that price.
