Durham First Aid Kit Box

A first aid kit is of no use if it’s not accessible where you need it. Durham, known for their industrial storage and organizational products, makes a nice sized first aid kit box that can be mounted wherever you choose.

The white powder coated steel box is 10.5″ long x 5″ wide x 2.5″ deep, and features a single latch, full-length hinge, a small handle, and two mounting tabs. It can be stashed in a drawer or hung from two screws, nails, or hooks on the wall.

There are no images of the front of the box, but there could (or should) be a universal first aid symbol. If not, there’s a quick remedy that involves red tape or a sharpie.

Durham offers a couple of other first aid kit box sizes and styles, but this model (520-43) seems to be the ideal size for a small  garage or shop first aid kit. It’s priced at less than $12, which seems fair.

Stuart, great article, but may I ask the coo of this product? I saw a similar product at Lowes but the price was much higher.

The company has manufacturing plants in CT and Mexico, per their site.

Thank you very much Stuart. So this is likely made in Mexico, but that is cool.

Not necessarily. Durham makes a lot of steel organizers, drawers, and cabinets, presumably in the USA. Maybe just their plastic molding is done in Mexico?

I received an order for two more of their steel organizer drawers last week, and don’t see any stickers or labels denoting country of origin. Not that it really makes a difference as I’m quite fond of Durham quality.
