WD-40 Military Collectible Series

WD-40 has issued a series of special can designs to honor the US military forces. There are 4 themes cans included in the new WD-40 Military Collectible Series, paying tribute to the United States Marines, Army, Navy, and Air Force.

For each collectible can purchased, WD-40 will donate 10 cents to the following charities: Armed Services YMCA, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Veterans Medical Research Foundation. WD-40 has pledged to donate a minimum of $100,000 to each charity organization.

I bet that these would look great next to WD-40’s Nostalgic Then and Now can that was released last summer.

I could not find any online dealers or reliable pricing information, but these cans should be available in retail stores nationwide, so keep your eyes peeled.

I saw them this week in Napa, Walmart and last month at my local Jaeger Lumber homecenter at around $4 each. I prefer to buy my WD-40 in gallons and save the aerosols for the next guy, but it’s great to see WD-40 supporting the Wounded Warrior Project with R. Lee Ermey. Jaeger has online ordering but only by the case on those, and the photo is wrong in the catalog, but for collectors it’s a sure way to get what you want if you can’t find it otherwise.
