Woodpeckers New Tall Drill Press Fence

Woodpeckers just announced a new taller fence to go along with their drill press table. Whereas the fence included with their drill press table package is 1/2″ tall, the new DP3 fence provides a full 3″ of support.

The anodized fence is 3/8″ thick x 3″ x 3″ and 23-1/2″ long. It has a 2″ wide notch at the center to provide clearance for a drill chuck, and includes all the knobs and bolts you need to connect the fence to parallel t-tracks.

The fence will be available starting September 15th, and is priced at $60.

Nice addition to the drill press table. Could assemble a couple of pieces of dp track but this is a more elegant solution.

eClub members save an additional $10 if purchased by the 9th.

I think that the biggest selling point for the fence is that its bottom and front are machined. A similar fence can probably be constructed from angle aluminum, but it would lack the precision of this setup. I might just have to give it a try!
