The market is full of weak, wobbly, and crappy folding work tables. There are some good ones too. The new Worx Pegasus folding work table doesn’t look revolutionary, but it does look smartly constructed and nicely featured.
The Worx Pegasus, WX051, isn’t just a folding work table, it’s also a sawhorse. It’s a good size, too, giving you a 31″ x 25″ work surface when in table mode.

When it table mode, it can support loads of up to 300 pounds, and when in sawhorse mode, with the table sides folded down, it can support up to 1000 pounds.
The Worx Pegasus comes with 2 quick clamps, and 4 clamp dogs that can be placed in holes in the work surface. This allows you to clamp everything from narrow boards to bigger sheets.
You can clamp something to the edge, such as for easier cutting.

Or in the middle, with the movable clamp jaw and clamp dogs.
The clamp dogs and quick clamps can also be configured to hold non-square or rectangular materials, such as a circular tabletop.
And if you need to secure boards larger than the max clamping width, you can reposition the clamps. While it might not be as secure a way to clamp something, it’s definitely better than not being able to clamp larger boards at all.
When you’re all done for the day, the Worx Pegasus folds closed for storage.
Need more worktop space? It also features a “joiner link,” so that you can attach multiple units together.
Partial metal construction, a temporary storage shelf, and holes for quick access to small parts help to elevate the Worx Pegasus design above simpler designs.
The name is pretty clever too. Get it? It’s a sawhorse with folding wings – the two table top sides. Pegasus!
Original Price: $120
Update: Amazon’s pricing has dipped below the original MSRP price of $120. I’ve seen it go as low as $103 with free shipping.

It’s also available at Lowes for the same price.
Here are 2 previous posts of other folding work tables that also have clamping features:

I was at IWF a few weeks ago, and they had an almost identical work table on display, that was going to be released, with some of their automaxx clamps and plastic bench dogs. Was supposed to be about the same price range too.

The Kreg Mobile Project Center has also been on my radar, and looks extremely similar, but with very significant differences in the build and clamping options.

Yes, the Kreg station felt way more solid than I expected.

That thing looks sweet, expensive (prolly $150+) but sweet. Nicest feature is being able to use the track clamp while in sawhorse config.

Just looked this up and watched the video. I am very intrigued. I would love to try out one when they come out. I love my Keter folding work tables and I love my Kreg clamps. I hope this combination works that Kreg has put together.
My concerns would be weight of the table and the amount of force/weight that could be on the wings once popped up.

Lowes also sells it. http://m.lowes.com/pd/WORX-Pegasus-26-6-in-W-x-36-in-H-Work-Bench/1000034439

I have my eyes set on this.
I know its not the same work platform but looks to be very sturdy and I can add a work platform to it somehow.

I can’t tell you how many times I pass that in the store and almost buy it.
would complement my mitre saw stand/support stand very well.

How tall is it? The Amazon link and Lowe’s link provide different heights.

i have two of the Keter 21.65 x 33.46 x 29.7 in. Folding Compact Workbench Work Table +Solution. and love them. The are only about 3 in thick when closed. push two buttons to open and easy to close. much faster then this WROX. also has two clamps just like the WROX.

Is there a height adjustment on the legs?

I’ve beat the crap out of my keter folding table and it just takes it. It has the same clamping system, but I just don’t find it fast/useful enough. I would be worried about the stability or strength of the outer edges of this table

If i saw this at a local home depot i would probably buy it. Wont pay to ship it though.

It only slightly improves upon B&D Workmate design, which is sold at Walmart for a third of the price of the Worx model.

I have two of these. Used daily on worksite. Started out with one. I was not sure how it would hold up under daily use. After 4 months of heavy use and weight stacked on it with the wings open ( 50lb boxes of screws), it has held of great. Purchased another one. $99 at Lowe’s.
