Transformers-Revenge-of-the-Fallen

You know you’ve got it bad when while watching the new Transformers movie you wonder which types of tools the Autobots use to repair themselves. If they adapted themselves to use Earth hardware, would they choose SAE or metric?!

I thoroughly enjoyed the new movie, especially when the heavy construction equipment started coming to life. The only disappointment was not seeing any power tools transform. The movie was quite spectacular despite poor critic reviews and several minor inconsistencies, so go see it!

This is not the first time that we’ve been thinking about or looking for tools in works of entertainment. A few months ago we spotted a Proto wrench in a video game, and more recently we’ve been scrutinizing Iron Man for glimpses of tools and hardware.
