Acme Tools Black Friday VIP Tool Sale: Save BIG! (11/17/25)

Acme Tools Black Friday VIP Cordless Power Tools Coupon

Acme Tools just kicked off a huge Black Friday VIP deal where you can save 15% off select orders $99+, with a max savings limit of $200.

The only catch is that you need to sign up for email or text promotional messages.

As a reader pointed out, the coupon offer DOES work on some existing Black Friday deals, such as the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 4-tool cordless power tool combo kit that’s bundled with a Packout rolling tool box and eligible for a FREE FORGE 8Ah tabless cell battery.

I checked, and sure enough the coupon code takes 15% off the price in my cart, and also leaves the freebie battery in place. That doesn’t usually happen.

That Milwaukee combo kit seems to be a rarity; I checked some other Black Friday deals and special buys and the coupon doesn’t apply to them.

Update: It also works on the Milwaukee FREE TOOL promo (thanks, Evan!) where you buy a 2-pack of 5Ah batteries and get a free tool. The coupon code strips away the $10 bonus gift card offer, but seems to be leaving the discounted price and free tool or accessory inclusion alone.

This seems like a great opportunity to save big on lots of cordless power tools, tool boxes, accessories, or hand tools that aren’t on sale and are unlikely to be discounted for Black Friday or the holiday season otherwise.

Following are some miscellaneous tools I checked and found to be eligible. Keep in mind, the discount requires a minimum order of $99 in eligible items.

This looks like a great deal – stacks with the $199 5ah battery x2, would be about $160 for 2x5ah batteries and a bare tool. Very tempting!

For example $160 for the compact router with 2x5ah batteries

Thanks! I was able to verify that it works on the Milwaukee free tool offer, and added mention to the post.

I used the code they sent me this morning. I bought a few accessories (like a 49-16-2704 draw stud, and a 49-16-2453 adapter spacer that had not been included in the knockout punch kit that I had previously purchased for Christmas giving.) I took a look at some of other Milwaukee Force Logic tools – with high ticket prices – and they seem to be excluded from the promotion. As an example, the 2676-23 KO punch set that I bought previously elsewhere (with a 15% off discount) is listed at $2299 with no discount available. That’s not uncommon for vendors to limit the maximum dollar amount of a discount

Specific SKUs are typically excluded for promos like this, but I agree there also looks to be a dollar cap as to what’s eligible.

They have a Baileigh box and pan brake for $1626, Atlas 5-ton chain hoist for $1499, and also a Makita SDS Max demo hammer bundle for $1329. I’m not seeing much beyond $1500 that’s eligible.

Noticed that the DWM120K porta band which I am interested in is on sale but its regular price is $442. Its only $299 on Amazon and at Home Depot. Now I understand that those two stores can give the best price on both things but thats quite the difference. Makes me suspicious of the rest of the prices.

Lowe’s and Zoro both have it at $429 right now.

Coupon promos are weird. A lot of times if a retailer wants to get reimbursed from a brand, or advertise a discount, they have to revert to MSRP pricing.

It’s up to the customer to shop carefully.

Some retailers have discounts at different times.

Dewalt DWE7485WS jobsite table saw with folding stand:

$399 at Acme Tools (and eligible for 15% off)
$339 at Amazon, where just the table saw is $449 right now
      $399 at Lowe’s
      $469 at Home Depot

Dewalt usually tries not to show favoritism except for when they have store-exclusive products, but obviously that’s not the case here. The same could be true for the band saw.

Maybe that’ll be a flash sale, and there’s a period that requires Acme to advertise it for sale at a higher price. There are all kinds of nuances, and much of the time the price lists come directly from the tool brands.

Home Depot has a Milwaukee M18 2x battery and charger starter kit for $199 and you get a free tool. While Acme’s deal only gives you 2x batteries and no charger, this deal knocks $30 off the price, which some people might be more interested in.

      In other words, shop carefully!

do you need to put in a new email address? I put in my existing Acme email address and haven’t received a code?

Check your spam folder? I’ll email them now.

Update: they said it can take ~20 minutes for the code to arrive via email, and if that’s not working you can try signing up for text messages.

Reading these comments and workarounds makes me glad I only purchase higher value pieces for specific as needed uses. Not buying in anticipation as I frequently do with mostly sub$500 tools. (And possibly too many “interesting” Japanese and German hand tools).

This looks like it’s an excellent opportunity to get discounts on tools that are rarely on sale. I just checked the prices on the new Dewalt Atomic modular grinders and even though they are a brand new tool this deal does apply to them. It also seems to apply to a lot of trade-specific M12 tools that I almost never see go on sale.

These? https://toolguyd.com/dewalt-atomic-20v-cordless-grinders-launch-2025/ Those are NOT modular grinders.

Yes. Obviously they’re not actually modular from the end-user’s perspective. I forgot the scare quotes around “modular”. I’m usually pretty good about that. Anyway, I used the term because of the precedent set here:
        https://toolguyd.com/dewalt-modular-cordless-tool-design/
…and I figured that most readers would get the point.

Yes, Dewalt took a modular *design approach*, but no, these are not modular grinders.

This time of year we see a lot of first-time readers and seasonal readers who are more interested in tool deals.

When you say “new Dewalt Atomic modular grinders,” some people WILL take that at face value, and they cannot be expected to know that you’re referring to the design approach rather than the user experience.

You have my apologies for typing “Dewalt Atomic modular grinders”. …when I should have typed something like “those Dewalt Atomic grinders which featured prominently in a recent Toolguyd article about modular design”
