Things are a little different this year, but there are still plenty of cordless drill kits discounted or at special buy pricing for Black Friday 2025.
In this post, we’re going to touch upon what I feel are the 5 best drill kit deals out there right now.
There are many others, but perhaps not without sacrificing quality, reliability, or features.

Milwaukee M18 Brushless Drill Kit – $99 at Home Depot
This is my top pick. It delivers ample power and performance for a compact cordless drill, and comes with a standard charger and compact 2Ah battery.
It’s a good drill, featuring a brushless motor. It seems like this is one of very few Black Friday deals this year that didn’t increase in price or undergo changes where you get less for the money.

Milwaukee M12 Fuel Brushless Hammer Drill Kit – $99 at Home Depot
The Milwaukee M12 Fuel hammer drill is also a great choice, featuring a brushless motor and relatively compact form factor.
If you were thinking of buying into the M12 cordless power tool system, this is one of the most economical ways to do it.

Dewalt 20V Max Brushless Drill Kit – $119 at Amazon
Lowe’s has the newer model for less if you’re a registered member.
Dewalt has at least 4 different 20V Max cordless drill deals and special buys for the Black Friday deals season. Amazon’s deal features an older tool, but is eligible for a special promo right now. If you want the newer tool, Lowe’s has the best price on a Dewalt cordless drill kit right now, but you have to sign up for their membership program.

Kobalt 24V Max Brushless Drill Kit – $79 at Lowe’s
I’m not sure how Lowe’s can offer their 24V Max brushless drill kit at this price, seeing as how Home Depot doesn’t have an on-par Ryobi 18V cordless drill kit at anywhere close to the same price.
If you just need a cordless drill, this could be the best standalone deal right now.

Craftsman V20 Cordless Drill Kit – $69 at Lowe’s
This Craftsman drill is acceptable. It’s an aging brushed motor design with entry-level performance, but it’s hard to complain about given the price.
Update: a reader found a great Ryobi deal:

Ryobi 18V HP Brushless Drill Kit – $69
This looks to be a much better deal than the Craftsman at the same price! Thank you for the suggestion in the comments section, Andrew!
There are more cordless drill kits out there right now, but these are the top 5 I’d recommend to Black Friday deal shoppers.
Looking for something else? Let me know in the comments and I’ll try to suggest a more suitable recommendation.

I don’t know if it’s comparable to the Kobalt but I did see this Ryobi drill at Home Depot

Thanks – great find! I never see that across multiple trips to different stores and untold time searching Home Depot’s online listings. I’ll add it to the post. The Kobalt is considerably more powerful, but the Ryobi looks to be a much better tool compared to the Craftsman.
