Readers have been asking if there would be any Black Friday or holiday season deals on Milwaukee’s top of the line FORGE batteries. The answer is yes, and here’s the best one.
There are a bunch of Milwaukee FORGE battery deals right now, where you get a free 8Ah battery with the purchase of a tool, combo kit, or bundle.
With this deal, you buy an M18 Rapid Charger and FORGE 12Ah battery, and you get a FREE FORGE 8Ah battery. The price for all 3 is $299.

As a reminder, these are Milwaukee’s best and highest performing M18 batteries, featuring tabless Li-ion cells, durable housings, and cooler faster charging (with the dual bay simultaneous charger).
Here’s a breakdown of what you get:
Rapid Charger: retails for $99
FORGE 8Ah Battery: retails for $229
FORGE 12Ah Battery: retails for $279
Even if you don’t need the charger, this is the best deal on a pair of FORGE 8Ah and 12Ah batteries.
NOTE: Acme has a flash sale coupon ending 11/04/25 that takes an additional $50 off the price. (Thanks BigRichard!)
There are two listings for the same deal, with both at the same $299 price.

Should you buy this deal? Months ago, after last year’s holiday season promo ended, someone asked if there would be any FORGE battery deals. There haven’t been any notable deals since then. If you’re looking to buy these tabless Li-ion batteries, this is the best deal I’ve seen since the last holiday season promos a year ago.
For further context, Home Depot has a Milwaukee starter kit with Rapid Charger and 8Ah battery for $279. With the deal discussed above, you also get a FORGE 12Ah battery for $20 more. They also have one each of both batteries for $499. $299 seems to be an excellent price for the deal bundle.
There are more M18 FORGE deals. I’ll post about some of them separately, but figured a quick rundown might be helpful.

Home Depot has other Milwaukee M18 deals where you can get a free FORGE 8Ah battery with qualifying purchases. They all look to be really good values right now, be sure to check them out.

You might also be interested in this other deal, where you buy a Milwaukee M18 dual bay simultaneous super charger with a FORGE 8Ah battery and get a second FORGE 8Ah battery for FREE.
The Super Charger, which provides the fastest charging times for Milwaukee M18 FORGE batteries, retails for $249 by itself. This freebie bonus bundle gives you the same charger and 2x XC 8Ah batteries for $349.

I keep hoping that Dewalt will do a similar deal with their highest performing DCB615, and DCB612 batteries.
Big Richard
The closest thing they have currently is buy the DCB609C kit (9Ah FlexVolt battery and 8A fan-cooled charger) for $329, and you can select an additional 9Ah for “free”.

Not quite as good as the Forge deal as you are only getting 18Ah versus 20Ah, and it costs $30 more. But the FV batteries do carry a little more of a premium due to the cross compatibility.
Big Richard
Acme has the same deal but with an additional $50 off with code – https://www.acmetools.com/milwaukee-m18-redlithium-forge-hd12.0-starter-kit/S0000000104683.html

Thanks! Added it to the post above. I wonder if it’s a mistake – coupon codes usually remove free tools, batteries, and other promo inclusions.
Andy
Just ordered, thanks!
Was on the fence while reading Stuart’s post but the extra $50 savings at Acme was enough to convince me
Big Richard
That’s why I’m here. Glad to help.
Travis
Much appreciated. I have been looking for some new M18 batteries, and this is the perfect deal.

In on the deal. Thank you B.R.!

$100 if you go to qty 2!
This was what I was waiting for, the lawnmower will Roar longer now.

The one with super charger doesn’t say anything about a free one when I click on it.
Andy
On my phone I had to click the “see full product details” button, then the free 8ah Forge shows up
Stuart
Sorry, I don’t know why Home Depot hides that on mobile devices. Here’s what I’m seeing:

Stuart,
It’s not just on mobile that your links go to a “product summary” page with a “view full product details” button. I’m getting the same thing running Firefox on windoze.
Stuart
That’s really weird. I checked on my phone – they show the full view if I’m signed in, and a shorter page when I’m not.
I’ve seen that before, but never realized it could be dependent on being signed in. I wonder if there’s more to it. Do you see the same or the full page view after you sign in your Home Depot account (if you have one)?
It does the same when I open Home Depot links from a Google search in an incognito browser window.

Acme flash sale with the $50 off ends November 4th not 24th as the not in article reads.
Stuart
Thanks! I checked it multiple times, somehow I still managed to get 11/04 wrong. *fixed*! Maybe I was too preoccupied checking to ensure the discount actually stacked with the free battery.
