BladeHQ, one of my favorite places to buy folding knives, multi-tools, and other EDC tools and gear, has some great money-saving Black Friday deals this year.
Supplies are limited, so let’s get straight to the deals.

FREE Leatherman FREE T2 Multi-Tool with $99+ Leatherman Orders

Spend at least $99 on Leatherman tools, and you get a free Leatherman FREE T2 multi-tool and folding knife. I think this is the first time ever that “Leatherman FREE tool” means exactly what it says!

FREE Civivi Desert Warrior Gojiro Knife with $150+ Orders
Spend at least $150 and you get a FREE Civivi knife – use code GOJIRO at checkout.
I don’t see any restrictions with respect to brand or product eligibility. From the looks of it, this applies to sale items and even the Leatherman offer, letting you double-dip on freebies.
Let’s say you get a Leatherman Arc or the new Wave Alpha. Your free FREE T2 is automatically added to your cart, and the Gojiro coupon code adds the Civivi to your cart prior to checkout. (I tested it, and was actually surprised to see both freebies in my cart!)

Many Benchmade folding knives are discounted, including popular styles such as the Bugout, Mini Bugout, and Barrage.
Benchmade knives almost NEVER go on sale making this is a much bigger deal than I thought at first glance.
Here are some more brands that are included in BladeHQ’s Black Friday deals:
Hogue Knives – Save up to 23%
Spyderco – Sale
Boker – Sale
BladeHQ doesn’t specify a flat discount, they simply say there are Spyderco and Boker knives on sale. There are lots of other brands included in this sale.
I’ve been out of the loop for a bit, and will be browsing through the selection to see if any new folding knives with MagnaCut blades catch my attention. What are you shopping for?
The sale is scheduled to end 11/30/25, but supplies are likely limited.
Let me repeat that last part: SUPPLIES ARE LIKELY LIMITED. I have seen popular products and also freebie items sell out in the past.
In the past, BladeHQ let me place multiple orders to get multiple freebies. I don’t know if that’s true for this Black Friday sale too.

Some emails have been flying into my inbox – promoting BF discounts. A few looked like possibilities for savings:
BOJO Tools (USA makers of plastic scrapers, picks and wrenches) – 30% off but you have to spend $65 for free shipping. They have a separate code for bulk buying.
Racewax (tools for skiers) – 20% off – code BFRWX2025
TechToolSupply – $25 off on orders over $100 (BF only – use code TTSLOVE2025)
Wiha – direct sales being promoted from their site – with various prices cut. They sometimes seem to undercut their authorized retailer prices

I would say “buyer beware” when dealing with Blade HQ. I’ve had three dealings with them and only one went well. In one instance they sent me an obviously used knife. In the second instance they sent me a budget Victorinox knife in lieu of the more expensive one I ordered. In that instance someone had placed the model information sticker from the knife I wanted over the one on the cheaper model. They refunded my money in that case and told me to keep the wrong model without a fight. I’ve also seen posts from other people saying they have had similar issues. My guess is that there are some shenanigans going on in the warehouse.

I have had nothing but excellent experiences with them over the years.
I have a new contact there. If any readers run into any unresolvable problems, tag me in. The same goes for almost every retailer I link to (except maybe Amazon).

I will not buy another knife
I will not buy another knife
I will not buy another knife
I will buy another knife, I mean I will not buy another knife
My everyday carry is a $9.75 copy of a Benchmade buyout. I don’t carry anything that cost over $100, so I’m not sure why I own them. And more important, why the hell do I want to buy more? Like the beautiful shape of Essee blades…… Is there a self help group for knives addiction?
BK5, Cold Steel fixed, Benchmade mini griptillion and Adamas, Kershaw Leek. Several Swiss Army knives, Klein version of buck 110(made in japan), Gerber skeletal and more than a few other cheaper ones. Plus, the only one that lives on my belt, the Victorinox multi tool which is the only one I really need and use. If I had only one folder, I’d keep the mini griptillion.
I’m sure I’m forgetting more knives I own.
My name is Alex and I am a knife addict!

You need to be clearer with comments like this – do you want me to talk you into it, or talk you down?
Your list seems quite broad. But have you tried a Spyderco yet? Civivi Elementum? This one has been calling my name: https://www.amazon.com/CIVIVI-Elementum-Folding-Nitro-V-C18062P-2/dp/B0DQ54KJ4F/?tag=toolguyd-20
I’m a fan of the mini Grip too. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the Bugout has all but completely replaced it.
Alexk
The Elementum is beautiful. I think there was one with a pearl looking handle that was tempting. I went with Benchmade instead of Spyderco, but I do like them and will eventually get one. Trying to not be impulsive this year.
