Bosch 12V Drill Impact Driver Combo Kit May 2013 Deal

Over at Amazon, this Bosch 2-tool combo kit (CLPK22-120) is priced to move. It comes with the PS31 drill/driver and PS41 impact driver, a charger, 2x 12V Max batteries, and a soft kit bag.

We reviewed the PS31 drill a while back, and continue to highly recommend it.

The price of this combo kit is around $115, which is quite a bit lower than anywhere else. Most of the other authorized Bosch dealers have this set priced at over $200.

Looking back at past deal posts, this combo kit was priced at $129 back in mid-November 2012. In other words, the current price beats out Amazon’s winter holidays pricing.

Price Comparison(via Home Depot)

There’s no indication about when the deal price will end or how Amazon is able to price it so low.

If you were planning on getting someone a compact cordless drill/driver kit for Father’s Day, you’re not going to find anything better than this for the money.

Update: Looks like the deal has expired, since the price is now back up to $188. For almost $10 less, this drill/driver, impact driver, and 2x L-Boxx combo kit is a better buy, although it’s only available for preorder right now. It’s worth checking back in case the price drops back close to $115.

Hey guys, I missed the sale and asked amazon if they’d still do the promo price. they replied to buy it and then complete online form the get promo price. I did it and they actually refunded all but the $115 price! So try it. Stoked to get this tool as the dewalt 18v 3.0 was great for the large deck but these little 12’s will be prefect for the kitchen remodel. Great site, toolguyd thx!

I can relate my story – I missed out on the promo price at $115. I chatted with CS, and they decided to send me a $40 promotional credit, which I applied to the combo kit with the L-Boxxes priced at $180. Total came to $140! Pretty sweet deal considering I already have a bunch of L-Boxxes and I consider the partitioned L-boxx one of the most valuable tool boxes I have – will be great to have two! I will have to wait until late June to get the kit (it’s a pre-order), but it’s worth saving the $40 for just asking….. 😉

That’s great to hear! The 2x -boxx combo kit for $140 seems incredibly hard to beat.

The fact that it’s set to ship in June makes me wonder if it’s going to be a heavily promoted Father’s Day deal in the same way the drill/driver L-Boxx combo was incredibly priced between great Black Friday and Christmas.
