EDIT: If you’re looking for the Bosch PS31 Drill, it’s priced even lower via Ohio Power Tool – $97.10, all month long!

Over at Amazon, the Bosch 12V Max PS21 pocket driver and PS31 cordless drill/driver are currently discounted to about $110 each. As we mentioned in our review a few months ago, these are two fantastic tools. At $110, they’re a pretty good bargain.

The last time we saw these tools at this low a price was back in December during the mad Christmas shopping rush.

    Stu,

Ohio Power Tool has the PS31-2A for $97.10 all month long as they are doing a promo with the local 97.1fm “The Fan” station. More info on the promo to come but there are some give aways open to everyone as well.

Thanks for letting me know, Jay! A link to the OPT sale has been edited into the post. <$100 for the PS31 kit is a heck of a great deal!

Two of my local Lowe’s seem to be closing out the Bosch 12V lineup. One had the PS31 for $90 (I have one and love it). And the Multi-X was $59. That’s not a typo, but it’s a steal.

That’s pretty strange. I haven’t seen the Bosch 12V tools clearanced at any of my local stores, but will make a point to check next time I’m there. At those prices I don’t expect the tools to remain on the shelf for long!

The Lowes deals are not consistent across their stores. I’ve been in three stores now: one had no deals at all on Bosch 12V tools. The other two were inconsistent in what tool was reduced, the amount of the reductions, the signs, etc.

I think that managers have control over what’s marked down. For example, it’s been reported that Lowes is not going to carry Knipex pliers (they’re located in the separate tool section for electrical supplies, not the regular tool section). There’s a package of two Cobra pliers that gets reduced prices, but the reduced price varies by store by up to $9!

Lowe’s deals on Bosch appear to be are gone now. New stock arrived, apparently with a $10 lower price.

That’s strange, I wonder what that was all about. But I can’t say I haven’t seen similarly strange pricing at other big-box stores before. New stock comes in, so old stock must sell, even at cost or at a loss. Go figure.

Any free shipping coupon codes for Ohio Power Tool? Otherwise it probably makes sense to just get it from Amazon.

    Thanks

I did a quick check, and I don’t think there are any free shipping promos on Bosch tools at the moment. Sorry.
