Readers sometimes ask what we think about Bosch tools. The short answer is that we like them a lot, for their features, high performance, and great quality. To refresh your memory, here are our reviews of the Bosch PS21 and PS31 12V drill drivers and the Bosch Power Box jobsite radio/charger.

Thanks Stuart, I have been back and forth between what new drill I was going to purchase (between the new DeWalt 20v max and Bosch). This made it easy. a DDS181-02 was ordered and will be here next week.

Glad to help! Looking at the DDS181-02, WOW, $153 before discount?! The last I checked, it was $174 on Amazon.

great deal, I got the Bosch PS20 for 54 bucks the last time around, but gotta hold off this time. If I could I would go with the Bosch CLPK27 combo, nice improvements, over the original older ps20 driver.

Just received my DDS181-02 from Amazon. I ordered it yesterday morning using there free express saver shipping and somehow still got it in 1 day, amazing really.

The drill appears to be very well made, but I will say Bosch dropped the ball in one regard that is a bit annoying. They give you a removable belt clip to screw on to the drill but when doing so the plastic molded case will not close. doh! Otherwise, great deal on a great drill!

The bosch tools look and feel well made but they never seem to feel comfortable in your hand like the dewalt, makita and the porter cable the new dewalts are the most comfortable it use to be the makitas but these new dewalts are gonna be hard to beat the new porter cable are real close even better then the makitas
