Bosch Oscillating Multi-Tool Cutter and Accessory Product Line

Bosch is rolling out new additions to their lineup of oscillating multi-tool accessories. Since oscillating multi-tool users spend most of their times cutting various materials, Bosch initially focused on developing [MANY!] new cutting accessories.

The new line of accessories is quite expansive and includes different cutters designed for use on insulation, caulk, non-ferrous pipes, fasteners, laminate flooring, and softer materials such as leather, rubber, carpet, linoleum, and styrofoam.

In addition to the cutters, Bosch will also introduce new grinding, scraping, and sanding blades. The new family of oscillating accessories will be available as individual products or as part of variety multi-accessory specialty packs, and should be available this summer.

Nice! These items look like they would be compatible with my HF tool… Do all of these Multi-Function tools use the same type of blade holder system?

@ Rascally – Each of the tool companies uses its own subtly different twist on the blade holder. But, you’re right, these accessories can be used with other tools. I’ll be getting Stuart a chart that completely clears up cross-platform compatibility by end of day today, and I’m sure he’ll share with everyone. Glad you’re excited about the new lineup. With this new accessories assortment and a roll of duct tape, there’s not much you couldn’t tackle! 😉

Well, the press release did say that the new accessories will improve the function and versatility of popular multi-tools, but I didn’t want to get my hopes of cross-platform compatibility up too soon.

We’ve just finished adding the full range to here and getting fantastic feedback about the multi-tools and blades. Rascally / Stuart – To get the accessories and blades to work with pretty much any other multi-tool (besides the Bosch ones), you simply need the Universal Adaptor.
