Did you hear? Power tool manufacturers announced that they will be discontinuing the production of corded power tools. As reported by HomeFixated, this move has been received with mixed responses. Some tool users are in favor of the change, with many others refusing to wake up and smell the Lithium.
Luckily for corded tool lovers, some manufacturers are taking advantage of loopholes and are marketing their tools as cordless, despite requiring the use of aftermarket extension cords.

Almost as good as Lee Valley – Veritas’ annual April Fool’s Day tools.
I think they have a spot on their web site where you can see past years’ offerings – like the multi-blade backsaw that cuts multiplie parallel kerfs in a single stroke.
Back in the day – one of the old photography magazines also used to do an April Fools edition – with such offerings as a motor drive with film canisters for an 8×10 view camera – (diesel generator to power it as an option)
