Griot's Garage

Griot’s Garage specializes in car care and garage customization. Let me rephrase that – Griot’s is an authority on car care. Whether you need to prep a showroom collectible, or clean the grime off your daily driver, Griot’s got what you need to make that car shine, and they’ll teach you how to use it!

There are three things I appreciate about Griot’s Garage. First, their self-branded products are made in the USA. Griot’s develops, manufactures, and bottles their car care products in the USA. Sounds like a great policy to us!

Second, Griot’s offers a lifetime guarantee against defects on EVERYTHING they sell, and a whopping 180 day satisfaction guarantee. Some of the tools and accessories they sell may be imported, but it’s great to know that Griot’s will only carry quality products they’re willing to stand behind.

Third, Griot’s has an awesome catalog filled with tips and how-tos.

The one thing we don’t like about Griot’s is that certain products can be a bit too expensive. This is especially true of the 3rd party tools and accessories that they carry, some of which are overpriced.

For example, the “Crazy-Legs Anywhere LED Flashlight” that they sell for $40 is a $25-30 GorillaTorch, their $30 “cord winder” has a typical retail price of $20, and the Hoover GUV Garage Utility Vac they sell for $230 is sold for $60-80 less elsewhere.

All that said, we have heard many great things about Griot’s Garage, and definitely recommend them.

If you haven’t purchased a Father’s Day gift yet,or are a dad and didn’t send enough hints about what you’d like to receive, take a look at Griot’s Garage. One warning – browsing their catalog or website may quickly lead to an enormous wish list!

    Stuart,

Thank you for featuring Griot’s Garage on the site. We are very proud to provide folks with the finest car care, education and passion while “Having Fun in Your Garage!” You may see some of our hard goods sold on other sites and stores. However, if it is not up to our standards you can bet it will be before we bring it to market for our customers.

You have a great site and we all enjoy reading it!
