Decent Home Depot Tool Deals of the Day (8/28/25)

Home Depot Tool Deals of the Day 8-28-25

Home Depot has another decent tool deals of the day sale, today only, 8/28/25.

Featured categories include power tools and combo kits, outdoor power equipment and power tools, hand tools, and power tool accessories.

“Decent?” Yes. Some of the deals are very good, but I’m not seeing any discounts that we haven’t already seen recently. This is a “check it out if you have a free minute” type of “walk leisurely, no need to run” type of online-only sale.

Home Depot Tool Deals of the Week

Deals end at 3am ET 8/29/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.

Should you check it out? Yes. With these deals of the day, readers usually find bargains that are better than the special buys they’ve already been considering, or deals that they missed from an earlier sale.

Home Depot also has PRO tool deals of the week still ongoing.

They also have Labor Day deals.

Dewalt DWE7491RS Table Saw Deal at Home Depot Labor Day 2025

For example, Home Depot has the Dewalt DWE7491RS table saw for $649 right now. They say you save $50.

All of the Dewalt authorized dealers I checked have the table saw at the same price right now, even Amazon, which claims that the saw is 10% off from a list price of $719.

However, the same saw was $599 around Black Friday last year (see Best Black Friday Table Saw Deals). It was discounted to $549 a few months ago – see Home Depot Presidents Day Tool Deals (2/17/25).

The “value” sticker and list price were bumped up to $699, and the Dewalt table saw’s long-regular price of $649 is now a “special buy” Labor Day deal.

KNOW YOUR PRICES – I cannot say this enough. If you’re unsure, spend a few minutes checking for older deal posts.

With all of the recent price changes, no one can predict what deals or discounts we’ll be seeing for the holiday shopping season.

Keep in mind that Home Depot typically has a 30-day price guarantee period and 90-day return period (some conditions apply). We’re a few days away from the point where 90 days covers holiday season deals, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday. I’m not sure what you should do with this information, but it seemed appropriate to bring up.

Might just be my browser but the link redirects aren’t working. I just get stuck on “https://toolguyd.com/home-depot/sbdotd”

It’s the same affiliate link I always use.

I use short links rather than

      https://homedepot.sjv.io/c/1241208/456723/8154?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.homedepot.com%2FSpecialBuy/SpecialBuyOfTheDay

so that I can turn off 16+ years worth of links in under 5 minutes. (I’ve had to do that a couple of times and it looks like I’ll have to do it for Amazon links really soon.)

If none of that work, you can find it on the HD webpage. Or https://www.homedepot.com/SpecialBuy/SpecialBuyOfTheDay .

      Anyone else having issues?

It’s working fine for me. (Chrome running on Android).

I missed out on the $200 deal of the day earlier this year when they were pairing an M18 FUEL 7ΒΌ” circular saw with a new Forge battery. I doubt that ones coming back but I keep checking just in case.

Yes, cannot load the pricing for the 18v hammerdrill/impact/ 3- 5.0ah combo kit on mobile. Then tried on laptop and could only find it with 399 pricing. Really want the 349 deal, ready to buy tonight. HD chat responded, but disconnected or crashed. Thanks for the post, though, will check in store over the weekend for same deal.

It’s not just you – it looks like they pulled that deal sometime after I took the screen capture.

Deals of the day and Pro deals of the week are online-only with few exceptions.

Man, I remember when small jobsite tablesaws were $399, hybrid saws could be found for $699 and full-size cabinet saws from brands like Grizzly could be had for $1200. Now the jobsite saws are $650, hybrids are $1100 and cabinet saws start north of $2000. I feel old.

One problem I have with some of these deals is when I want the tool only version. I’ve got a ton of M12 batteries and maybe ten chargers. I keep telling myself NO MORE, then I want to pick up a new tool and it’s substantially cheaper in a kit with charger and batteries. Wish they would put deals on Tool only items.

Someday I’ll pick up the M12 installation driver. Just not sure what a good deal is. Milwaukee is so frustrating. lol

Home Depot runs ‘hackable’ deals pretty often and that’s generally the cheapest way to get things like the installation driver; I got it for $114 this way back in May (but ended up returning it for the Bosch Chameleon.) Also a good way to get bare tools if they’re paired with batteries you don’t want (or vice versa.)

Look at past posts on toolguyd about HD “return hacking” – you can buy those bundles and return some of the bundle and get a portion of the money from the bundle back in a way where the numbers makes sense allot of the time
