Dewalt 25 off 100 Coupon January 2019 at Tool Nut

Dewalt’s current $25 off $100+ discount looks to be expiring today, 12/8/2019. Right now it’s still working at the retailers I checked, and knocking $25 off the price of most $100+ Dewalt orders.

I don’t know about you, but when I know there’s a dollar-off promo that’s good for a week or longer, I tend to put off purchases. “Maybe a better deal of the day or promo will come along” I often think, and sometimes it does. It doesn’t matter if a deal has been running for a week or a month, I always tend to wait to the last minute to take advantage of it.

Well, this is the last minute for this Dewalt promo.

I don’t know what comes next, or if there be any promo following it. Things are always a little different each year.

If you were holding off on buying something, now’s looking to be the last chance to take advantage of this promo.

Deal Info via Acme Tools

Amazon doesn’t explicitly mention an end date, they only say it’s a “limited time” promo, and so the 12/8 end date is only an assumption right now.

Amazon has free shipping on $25+ direct orders, Acme Tools has free shipping on $49+ orders, Tool Nut has free shipping on $99+ orders.

Thanks for this reminder. Was able to snag the cordless trim router on Amazon (on sale for 149.99) for $125 after the discount. Hard to beat

The economic consumer buying news all say that big box retailers have overstocked their inventories thinking that since the stock market has been sky high that consumer holiday spending will be great. Well, the latest news says it is NOT. Stores were almost empty on Black Friday & Cyber Monday & every day since then.

I strongly suspect that even bigger discounts are coming since these retailers have to get rid of inventory they’ve already paid for. Every year I see all these “last chance” sales and then later see even bigger price cuts from the sales prices. I’d wait until Dec. 15th or later to see this happen, again. After New year’s day, you will see huge markdowns to unload inventory bought on misplaced optimism. The news stories are all over YouTube from credible news sources. Be patient & you’ll get some fantastic markdowns

The plentiful inventory isn’t much different this year than last year, and perhaps the year before as well.

Don’t buy into the hype that there will be massive markdowns. Last year I was told that stores were given less control over discounting the holiday season special buys, and that items that didn’t sell would likely go into above-rack storage for a while until the next promo.

Some items might be further discounted, but that’ll likely be the exception and not the norm.

Last year, some displays were discounted after New Years, others were moved to new locations, and others were dismantled and the tools returned to shelves or new storage spaces.
