Mentioned this a few times before, but I think it is worth mentioning again: Farm & Fleet has the 1/2″ 20v Atomic ratchet on sale for $99.

That’s why I bought it, too. Glad I could help.

I’m liking the 3/8″ extended version deal. The 12v possibly someday going away .makes me nervous, but I think I will still snag this deal.

Too bad Dewalt didnt do what Makita has and made interchangeable anvils for their ratchets – you can swap out either the 3/8 or the 1/4. I almost bought the 12v deal, but have no use for the plain Jane Dewalt socket sets – would much rather get the $75 off.

I really like the interchangeable anvil on Makita’s wrench, and the form factor is super nice. But the pitifully weak torque rating on it is a deal breaker.

But unlike Milwaukee, Makita says you can use the ratchet to break the bolt free first.

Isn’t it assumed you can do that with all of them, even if they say otherwise?

DeWalt does have an interchangeable anvil ratchet. It changes between 3/8″ and 1/2″ drive. It is a 20v XR model and has a little extra torque and speed over the Atomic 20v models.

        Model is the DCF510 – https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWALT/5013549737
