Dewalt Planer Package is on Sale for Black Friday 2025

This Dewalt DW735X planer package has been on sale a couple of times over the past few months, typically only as a deal of the day.

A few readers asked me to keep an eye out for new discounts, and that’s exactly what I found. Acme Tools has this Dewalt woodworking planer, with extra cutting blades plus infeed and outfeed tables, on sale for Black Friday 2025.

The deal price is $649, and it looks like Amazon has matched it.

Neither retailer has any bundle deals that come with the stand, and so you might need to buy that separately.

Update: While I don’t see this as a deal of the day, Home Depot has matched the price on the planer package and also has a discount on the bundle with the stand (although you might want to buy it separately).

Should you buy the planer? Yes*, it’s a great woodworking machine. We might see the same deal repeated later in the holiday season, or this could be the last time it’s discounted at this special buy price for a while.

*Black Friday is here, and that means deals are ending soon or supplies are running out fast. This Dewalt planer is the type of tool that most shoppers already plan on buying once they came across a good deal. I don’t see the price getting any better than this.

*If you’re really on the fence, think about this: what would be the bigger hassle, placing an order and having to cancel or return the planer should you change your mind, or missing out and having to wait for the next promo whenever that might be?

I should probably also mention that Acme Tools has a discount on the Dewalt 20″ scroll saw. Amazon has matched the price here too.

Thanks for the head up on the deal. It works out well at Lowes as they have it for $650 and I get another 5% off with their credit card.

I wish they’d bring the 220v model state side. I’ve swapped the cutter head with a Byrd shelix and it bogs down on hard woods if I try and take anything more than 1/16″ off in a pass. It’s just not designed to handle that extra mass and there’s not an easy way to swap out the motor either.
