$200 off Dewalt FlexVolt Miter Saw Kit!

Over at Acme Tool (thru 11/28/16) and Home Depot (expires…?), this Dewalt 120V Max FlexVolt miter saw kit is on sale for $599, which is $200 off its regular price of $799.

I thought that $699 was a great price. But $599? That’s awfully tempting, even if you intend to use this strictly as a corded saw.

Previous Deal Discussion

This is the best miter saw I’ve ever used, corded or cordless. The price is steep, but I think you definitely get your money’s worth.

Acme’s page says that this pricing is good thru 11/28/16, we don’t know when Home Depot’s pricing ends. It looks like Amazon also offered the promo, but right now it’s showing as not in stock.

Note: As this is a 120V Max saw, it requires the 2 FlexVolt batteries to be connected at the same time (they switch from 20V Max to 60V Max automatically). Also, the AC adapter only works with 120V Max tools.

Can the corded adapter be used with any Dewalt tool? If Ridgid had one of those I would buy the 7 1/4 brushless slider in a heartbeat.

No, only the 120V Max miter saws.

This guy on Youtube made one himself for that saw, pretty cool. Not the most informative video, but he could probably answer questions you have about his process. Watch his video here: https://youtu.be/WDuZxfOqDfQ

Such a fantastic deal! Oh so tempting. I really want the FlexVolt non slider 12″ saw but it hasn’t seen any discount.

You and I are in the same boat, I really have about 3-5% need for the slider but may break down and get the slider as its actually cheaper than the equivalent fixed miter kit. Kind of strange that every other flexvolt tool has a discount or free 2nd battery with it except the fixed miter saw. Dewalt has paid no attention to the fixed miter saw.

Nice! It said it wouldn’t apply on the BF sale price, and I took it at face value.
