Dewalt Portable Workbench Black Friday Sale 2025

My favorite portable workbench, the Dewalt DWST11556, just dropped in price as part of a prolonged Black Friday sale.

A couple of competing brands have launched imitations, but the Dewalt remains my top pick, especially at its discounted price.

The Dewalt workbench opens quickly, and folds into a compact package for convenient storage or carrying.

It has metal legs and can support up to 1000 lbs. Holes and slots in the top surface make it easy to add clamps for holding down workpieces, and there’s also a recessed tray for keeping track of screws and small parts.

I purchased mine years ago and it remains strong, convenient, and reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase another.

Price: $89.98, accessories not included

Buy it at Home Depot
Buy it at Amazon
Buy it at Acme Tools

Thanks to Vards for the heads-up!

There’s also a deal on Klein’s portable workbench, see The Klein Tools ModBox Folding Workbench is on Sale. Between the two, I prefer this Dewalt, which is also less expensive at $90 vs $99.

Can vouch, this is a great table. Maybe I’ll snag a second one…

I have 2 of these and they’re fantastic. nearly bought a 3rd at Home Depot this week and might just end up with it anyway since they’ve been handing out $20 pro rewards like candy recently

How do you get some of this pro rewards candy?

Need to be registered with a Home Depot Pro Xtra account. Don’t know if having the Home Depot Pro Xtra credit card makes and difference. They’ve been sending out spend 150 get 25, 200 get 20 or just randomly giving out $25 pro Xtra dollars. Most have an in-store requirement no online

Looks like it’s designed to be compatible with the DeWalk trigger clamps? I already have trigger clamps, but might get the DeWalt set if it’s a compatibility issue.

There’s a picture of the underside at the home depot link. It has a bunch of criss crossed ribs but I don’t see anything designed for clamps. So guessing it’ll work with any clamp that’ll fit through the holes. With the caveat that too much clamping force might break the ribs.

I have the toughbuilt and the dewalt tables. The toughbuilt is definitely stronger, but the dewalt is strong enough for most tasks. The toughbuilt is noticeably heavier, and more difficult to open, so I use the dewalt if I only need one table

I have the Dewalt table and I like it. But i also have the Toughbuilt version which I like better as you can push in the handle so that it is out of the way. I wish Toughbuilt still marketed them.

The pictures of the Dewalt appear to show that its handle also pushes in.

Not when the table is folded open.

Was looking at one of these but the reviews seem to indicate that they break a lot. Something about the corners cracking. Maybe negative experience reviewer bias? Or is there actually an issue? Lowe’s has the Klien version for $99.

I haven’t had issues, and don’t recall readers complaining about theirs.

I’ve had my two for years and beat the crap out of them.
Tend to pull them out more often than the Bora centipede.

      great tables.

I have had 2 for almost 10 years now. A few holes from a quick hurricane shutter redo, but otherwise they’ve held up great! Could probably convince myself I need more depending on the project. They are currently being used to hold buckets of Halloween candy. I love that they are light enough to hang on my slat walls in the garage!
