Dewalt PowerStack Cordless Power Tool Battery and Charger Clearance at Lowes

Lowe’s has this Dewalt 20V Max cordless power tool starter kit on clearance right now.

This is a 5Ah PowerStack starter kit, which comes with the biggest PowerStack pouch cell battery Dewalt makes, and a charger.

Lowe’s has the starter kit discounted to $91.57 at the time of this posting, and I found the same when checking for a couple of zip codes around the country.

It’s out of stock in some regions, or at least unavailable for purchase online.

Home Depot has the same Dewalt starter kit for $182 right now, and Acme Tools has it for $249.

Even if you don’t need the charger, ~$92 seems like a great price for the XR PowerStack 5Ah battery.

It’s hard to say how widespread this clearance is, or where there’s inventory left, but this seems like too good of a deal not to mention.

Buy it at Lowe’s

I agree, that battery was worth it. Note, $10 delivery fee but for… today! Thanks Stuart, that is TWO deals in TWO days I was able to get.
FWIW, I remember that 5ah Powerstack was $199 when first released or $379 for two pack in 2022…

The delivery fee suggests they’re fulfilling from stores with couriers in the same way as building supplies, rather than shipping from a warehouse.

It is out for delivery! Like … in 20 mins! Better than Amazon!

They use one of the gig services, I’m not sure which one. But basically it’s doordashing from Home Depot.

Whenever that happens with Lowe’s, try changing the zip code for where you’re shopping from.

I had to change the store to one 15+ miles away to get the best price. My two local store were both $137.37 as well.

By setting “My Store” to several different stores in my area I see, $249, $114.47, and $91.57.

You might want to check Home Depot if you can’t get this offer, I’m seeing just the battery for $99

Weird. When the page loads it shows $173, but then it updates to $99.

So I just took a look at more stores and it is only the few closest stores I checked that change to $99, when I check farther away it shows the $173.

I guess it is also one of those store by store deals too.

Same here – $173.53 – what a seemingly random dollar amount.

For my 4 local stores. What’s the point? the lowest and 1 of the highest priced stores are 6 whole miles apart. Dear Lowes, make it make sense.

They have them where I live, but these have the old 115 charger. Still a great deal.

Man I’ve been watching the 1.7ah starter kit for a couple of weeks that was in clearance for under $100.

Store near me says it has 18 of the 5ah starter kits for $91.57. I’ll probably swing by the store tomorrow.

on the same page it lists the 5ah battery alone for $219. is this Lowes AI going crazy? what would make them sell with a charger for less then half the price. they didn’t make multiple versions of the 5ah Powerstack did they?

Based on store inventory numbers, it seems Lowe’s has way too many that haven’t been selling.

One store about an hour away was 114. The local one was $137. It showed $249 on some pages but said the final price would be reflected in the cart. I use DeWalt batteries, so it’s a good deal even at $137 since I can pick it up on Friday when I am going near the store, no shipping fee.

    Thanks for letting us know.

Thanks for the heads up. I went a bought a bunch for my HVACR techs as they are always turning in bad batteries. This is a pretty good deal.

I also had 3 different prices depending on which store.

    WTF, Lowes.

When I choose one farther away for delivery, it jumps from 91 to 137 — apparently delivering from another store where the price is higher.

One more thing: the one I received had the DCB115 charger, not the pictured DCB1104.

Further, the date on the battery was from late 2022 — so almost 3 years old.

    Just FYI.
