It’s a good basic tool box, and you can build it up into a larger modular tool box system if you wish. And if not, it’s great by itself.

Home Depot once again has the Dewalt shallow Pro 10-compartment organizer on sale for Black Friday 2025, with a price of $12.88.
The best part is that they’re offering FREE SHIPPING. Buy one or a couple, and get it delivered straight to your door. Home Depot hasn’t always offered free shipping on their Dewalt Black Friday organizer deals, and sometimes they flip the switch on and off. Enjoy it while you can.
This Dewalt medium ToughCase organizer can hold small tools, parts, and accessories. It’s NOT on sale right now, and I don’t think I have ever seen it discounted.
But every time I mention it, readers buy it up, and so it made sense to include it. I own a couple too. These are good organizers for loose power tool accessories and other small stuff, and you can also load it up with Dewalt bit rails.
It’s been $8 recently, and will probably remain that price, so don’t rush to buy one.

If you do need more complex tool storage, I am a huge fan of the Milwaukee Packout deals that retailers are running right now, where the “buy more, save more” tiers can rack up a huge discount.
Dewalt has some ToughSystem tool box sales right now too, but I found the pricing uncompelling, especially when you make direct comparisons to what you can get from the bigger and better Packout system for the same or less money.

The dewalt organizer for $12.88 will only ship for that price to the same area as a store that has them in stock. Otherwise it’s $40.55. A store 2 hours away has them in stock, and it will let me pick them up or ship them there for that price, but when I select ship it to home, it goes back up to $40.55. My store said there were 14 in stock today, so I jumped on it. Then they canceled my order because it was a system glitch and they didn’t have any.

Ah. That’s unfortunate. Hopefully the shipments are just late and are taking a bit longer to spread to stores around the country.
