This Dewalt 2-drawer tool box just went on sale as part of Amazon’s Black Friday Week discounts.
It’s part of the Dewalt Tstak system and is also compatible with Craftsman VersaStack tool boxes and accessories.
As with other Dewalt Tstak tool boxes and organizers, you can use this one as part of a larger system, or just by itself.

I think it pairs well with the Dewalt compact Tstak tool box, which is $18 at the time of this posting. That way you can have tools on top and parts, supplies, or smaller tools in this 2-drawer tool box on the bottom.
Or maybe stack a bunch of these to make your own parts cabinet.
Sale Price: $26.47
This seems like a great price for this Dewalt 2-drawer tool box.
We don’t know how long it’ll be discounted for. At this time, it’s under $27 at Amazon. Home Depot has it for over $31, and other Dewalt dealers have much higher pricing (Acme has it for $44). Even the nearly identical Craftsman Versastack 2-drawer tool box at Lowe’s is $38 right now, and that’s the sale price.
Thank you to Vards for the heads-up!

Need something bigger? Home Depot has the Dewalt ToughSystem 2-drawer tool box for $100 right now, and the 3-drawer tool box for $119.

I find it strange that Amazon can advertise lower prices on items such as these yet many other retailers make you “add it to cart” to see the price because they are forbidden by manufacturers to show the price if it’s so much lower than competition. It seems Amazon gets a free pass on this. I can’t ever recall Amazon making a person “add it to cart” to see what the price is?
Stuart
Amazon does use “click the coupon” and “discount appears at checkout” strategies at times.
Here, it could be a deliberate deal that Dewalt worked out with Amazon. At times Amazon gets special Dewalt deals and flash sale promos that other retailers don’t offer.
I have noticed that Amazon usually sticks to fixed pricing for common deals that can be found at most if not all Dewalt retail partners.

I remember years ago there were a couple of “add to cart” to see the price deals on Amazon.
Many of the vendors that won’t show the price advertised, my guess is that they are authorized service centers, and to not lose it, play by the rules. Amazon, I am not sure, but I think Stuart has said on various occasion that Amazon is not am authorized Milwaukee dealer. If it is also the case with Dewalt, then they do not have to play by the rules(?).

Is TSTAK gone from Dewalt’s website? Looks like this might only be Craftsman red/black when this inventory is gone?

No idea. I don’t think it’s going anywhere; maybe this is just a marketing move to funnel customers to the pricier ToughSystem.

Can the Dewalt 10 compartment small part organizers (sallow and deep) mentioned on here several times, latch into the Tstak boxes? I am so confused. The yellow modular latches look the same, the metal latches could be the same part…but there are also the (clear lid) Tstak part organizer. I searched but couldn’t tell if the 10 compartment organizers are Tstak compatible.
Stuart
No.

This is a handy little box. Slides nice when you open and close it. Definitely worth what they’re asking.

Yeah I’ve got a bunch of them scattered around my various hobby areas. Not as robust as the more expensive systems, but great for my needs.

Yes, me also. I have 6-7 of these. They have minor shortcomings, like the shelves will flex if there is enough weight in the drawer. On the other hand, these double drawers are not very deep, that helps in not overloading them.
Overall I like these and all the TStak, they are kind of on their own, and great for many things…like you mentioned, great for hobby stuff.
They lack the strength and robust construction of all the other guys out there, but fill a niche for me.
