Dewalt Fixed Handle Utility Knives 2-Pack

*Knock Knock*

Who’s there?

Dewalt utility knife 2-pack…

Dewalt utility knife 2-pack who?

Dewalt utility knife 2-pack, for the price of 1!

Alright, so that was a lame knock-knock joke. Would you have preferred a haiku poem? I’ll try that next time.

I haven’t tried this particular Dewalt utility knife yet, but their retractable folding knife is quite good (here’s our review). Besides, with how many utility knives Stanley offers, it’s hard to believe they would put the Dewalt name on a bad design.

Right now the 2-pack is an online-exclusive, but it’s also out of stock online. So why would I post about an already expired deal? I’m crossing my fingers that Home Depot restocks the 2-pack soon. SKU for the 2-pack is DWHT71700.

Normal price is $13 for one, with this deal it’s $13 for two.

Update: My local Home Depot store had a bunch sitting in a display in the tool aisle. So although it’s sold out online, the deal still looks to be valid at some stores. And yes, I bought a pair – one can never have too many utility knives.

Its a great knife. I bought two of the packs that come with the knife and 75 blades.

These have some resemblance to the DeWalt compact folding knife. These are not however, folding knives. Not to suggest that it’s bad. These are a great deal, just understand what they are. Also, it’s hard to get a sense of scale when looking at the photo. These knives are more “full sized.” They’re quite a bit larger than the DeWalt folding knife.

For a better sense of scale I always look at the diagonal of the blade. Yes, these are somewhat large knives, but still pocketable.

If the 2-pack comes back on sale, I’ll buy it and give the second one to my father.

I saw this deal in the store the other day, they also had 1 knife and a pack of I think 75 blades for the same price

Well, we can always add a haiku to this one anyway:

    Utility knife,
    DeWalt 2-for-1 special,
    For me and my dad.
