12/3/14 Deal of the Day: Dremel 3-Tool Combo for $129

Over at Home Depot, today’s deal of the day is this Dremel 3-tool combo set (CKDR-02) for $129. The special holiday bundle includes Dremel’s Saw-Max compact saw, 3000-series rotary tool, and an MM20 oscillating multi-tool.

For the price, this set delivers a lot of bang for your bucks. As I said last year, I wish this set came with a different oscillating tool, such as the newer and slightly better featured MM30 model. The MM20 is capable multi-tool, but it’s a little outdated compared to more recent offerings.

This 3-tool combo is a little light on accessories, but overall you do save quite a bit than if you were to buy all 3 tools separately. According to Home Depot and other product listings, the regular price for the 3-tool combo is ~$230. So with the sale price, you save $100, or about 44%.

There was a similar deal last year on Amazon, where the combo was on sale for $150.
