Gearwrench 4″ Screwdriver Price Mistake

While not as amusing as the $100 billion Estwing Fireside Friend Splitting Tool error, I spotted this 4″ Gearwrench screwdriver selling for nearly $100. But wait, that’s at an 82% discount from the list price of $532.50! And there are only four left!! Better hurry!

Oh, Amazon…

Anyone want to guess how long it will be until the price is corrected?

I’m guessing 24-48 hours for a correction. Am I too optimistic?

The price has been ~$97 for a few days now. Even if someone contacted Amazon about the error, there is not much their customer service dept. can do about it. Amazon’s prices are automatically updated and adjusted according to various conditions. This was probably a typo, but could be more complicated than that – how did Amazon determine a $500+ list price for the tool?!

Are you sure this is an error? Not a preview of things to come, when there are no more American made tools? LOL

Hey guys don’t forget about Amazon’s shopping cart tactics

The screwdriver is in my cart. When the price drops to $70 I’m going to pounce on that deal!! LOL
