I found some new info about the new Hilti ProKit cordless vacuum, VC 2-22 PK, which is the first Nuron battery-powered accessory for the recently launched storage system.
The Hilti ProKit vacuum features a 1.3 gallon tank and can be used for wet and dry cleanup.
It is “fully accessible from anywhere within your ProKit stack.” This is why the controls are on the side, so that you don’t have to tear down a tool box tower just to access and activate the vacuum.

There’s an ECO mode, presumably a lower suction power setting for extending the runtime.
Features and Specs
- 1.3 gallon capacity (2.1 gallon for water)
- 48.73 CFM max air flow at hose end
- 86 dB(A) noise level
- Hose extends up to 8 feet
- Switch between wet and dry cleanup without changing filters
It’s powered by Hilti Nuron batteries, presumably any of them.
Pricing details are not yet available. I also couldn’t find anything about whether remote activation is possible.
Hilti has more ProKit tool boxes and accessories on the way – see Hilti ProKit Tool Box Expansion – Drawers, Vacuum, More. They could not answer any of my questions at this time, but said more information would be available in coming weeks.

The new Hilti vacuum brought to mind the Milwaukee Packout cordless vacuum – shown here with an optional dust separator – which has a 2.5 gallon capacity and up to 50 CFM max suction volume.
I love the Packout vacuum’s dual power settings, performance, and Packout compatibility. I consider Milwaukee the leader in cordless vacuum tech, but feel that Hilti has been catching up.

Is this a render or is the hose really smooth rubber?
Stuart
Good question.Sorry, it’s the only image I could find.
I have never seen a smooth vacuum hose, but I have seen extendable hoses with outer sleeves.
