Home Depot decided to get in on Amazon’s October 2025 Prime Day action with some tool deals of their own, featuring Milwaukee cordless power tools, Dewalt, Ryobi, and more.
It seems that Home Depot has been shopping around and making some calls, as they’ve added some tools to their sale since I first checked it a couple of hours ago, matching some of Amazon’s Prime Day deals.
Update: Home Depot has been further discounting some of their Milwaukee tool deals of the day. If you already placed an order, call today for a price adjustment. If not, hurry up and get buying before they change their mind!

The great thing about Milwaukee M12 tools is that almost all M18 users already have a compatible charger. This bundle doesn’t come with one, but in most cases you don’t need one if you already have an M18/M12 multi-voltage charger.
This is a fantastic cordless detail sander, and they make it pretty easy to grow from being an M18 user to M18 and M12.
Dewalt Jobsite Table Saw with Folding Stand – $329
This is Black Friday-like pricing on a very good compact table saw.
Ryobi Pressure Washer with Surface Cleaner – $99
This is an $89 pressure washer bundled with a $30 surface cleaner. Washers like this are very limited in performance, but can handle smaller tasks until you can justify something considerably larger, pricier, and more capable.

I need some higher capacity DeWalt batteries, both amp hours but also maximum available amps to the tool for high demand tools such as circular saws. So either PowerStack, PowerPack, FlexVolt, or traditional with 21700 cells. What’s a reasonable deal to expect with holiday sales?
Toolnut has a two pack of 8ah batteries for $219, for example. It’s unclear if that’s a good deal versus what might come.

There are some posts in the archives about other deals, but shorter-time deals are going to be less predictable and repeatable. Last year Dewalt seemed to have different phases of battery deals. The goal is generally on value, and so mainly older battery tech, but there could be PowerPack, PowerStack, or FlexVolt battery deals this year.

This may be just me, but this combo is coming up @ $179.99.
About a month ago it was down to $199.99, which I bit on and couldn’t be happier. I was skeptical at first, but the M12 line is capable of handling 85% of what I’d ever throw at it while being lighter and a much more user friendly form-factor than it’s big brother M18 beside it.

If you want to really be impressed with these M12 tools, get a 5ah HO or a 6ah battery.
There has been talk with the 6amh being problematic but the 2 I have have not presented any problems yet.
My 2nd gen stubby can break 13/16 frame bolts loose, and I broke the drill in drilling 6” deep holes in a concrete pad using the two highest output batteries.

1 of 4 M12 6ah that I own that has started to “lose” capacity due to cell voltage imbalances.
Charger says fully charged and when it’s plugged into any tool it only shows as 50% charged.
Going to submit a claim to Milwaukee but not holding my breath on it.

This is a minor nitpick, but I think the tool described as the “M12 Fuel Brushless Detail Sander” is actually a different model. The model currently on special with the 2-pack of 3ah batteries is the 3-inch Random-Orbit Sander.
The 3-inch random orbit is fantastic; I bought the bare tool about a week ago. It has excellent ergonomics, good power, and its dust collection with just the bag is surprisingly good. Also, something I consider essential for power sanders is the availability of quality discs/belts/etc. Some models use odd sizes that are difficult to find. 3-inch hook-and-loop is an automotive industry standard which means that is not a problem.
I am now looking for a deal on the 6″ dia 3/16-throw random orbit model to go with it.

Officially, it’s a 3″ random orbital detail sander.
Visually, you can tell it apart from the other detail sander. They are both excellent, but engineered for different applications.

I spent a lot of time researching these recently. Usually it is very consistent, whenever a site mentions “M12 Detail sander” they are referring to the 2531. Nobody bothers to write out “3” random orbital detail sander”. They just say “3in random orbit” when referring to the 2535. I found it confusing when this article bucked that standard trend.
Given that they both could be described as “detail” sanders I think it makes more sense to call the random orbit a random orbit as it makes it clear exactly which one you are talking about.

I was running on 2 hours of sleep. I took a break and will probably make more semantics faux pas and “buck more trends” that I’ll have to fix. It’s a 3″ random orbital detail sander, the other is an “orbital detail sander.” I corrected the link text to avoid further confusion. =)

If anyone is confused, they should just buy both. 😀 Although admittedly somewhat limited application tools, each of those sanders is truly excellent.

I bought the 2585-20 M12 6” sander on a random 15% off sale in June from Factory Authorized Outlet.
I felt like it was a decent value since FAO’s list price was the same as everywhere else ($330) so the discounted price was $280 with free shipping.

That’s a really good deal on the M18 15ga nailer.
They’ve almost never been discounted from the typical list price of $330 in the last year or so.
Paying $10 more than list and getting 2 M18 3ah HO batteries (usually $99 on sale) is a no brainer if you’re in the market for the nailer

The M12 planer is actually a much better deal than it appears to be. The sale price is before the offer of a free 2.5ah battery, and if you put both in the cart the separate discount on the planer itself soars to 50% from 26% before adding the battery, which is a separate SKU and can be returned without changing the price/discount on the planer.
