Home Depot has new tool deals of the day for 9/2/2025, and some of the deals are better than they were just a few days ago.
As usual, the flash sale categories are cordless power tool kits and combos, power tools, hand tools, and power tool accessories.
Featured brands include Dewalt, Milwaukee, and Ryobi, with a few Ridgid offerings mixed in.

Deals end at 3am ET 9/3/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.
One of the more notable deals is this Dewalt sliding miter saw and folding stand bundle:

This Dewalt 12″ sliding miter saw (DWS779) and folding stand bundle (DWX724) was $549. The saw was regularly a $399 promo, but increased to $449 recently. The stand ($229 by itself) was bundled in for just $100 more at the new holiday season price of $549.
Today only, it’s $499, saving you an extra $50 compared to the recent seasonal promo promo price.
Last winter holiday season, the bundle was $499, and it dipped to $459 on Black Friday and other occasions as a deal of the day promo.
With the saw now at $449, and the bundle a $549 special buy, I think that $499 is as good as it will get for the saw and miter saw bundle.

As usual, it’s worth looking over Home Depot’s tool deals of the day.
While I’m not seeing any “run, don’t walk” must-buys, there could be a discount or bundle price on something you were meaning to buy.

As a homeowner, I’ve been looking at getting a cordless tool combo package. Consensus seems to be Dewalt is top-tier, and I’ve been watching for deals. But from your past comments, it seems real deals are hard to come by these days.
What do you think about today’s Home Depot Dewalt deal?:
20-Volt MAX ToughSystem Lithium-Ion 6-Tool Cordless Combo Kit $529
Is this a feature-bare, sucker kit? Would I get better value with another brand’s combo kit, being that I’m a homeowner and not a contractor? Do you have a post/article on this type of thing?
Thanks!
Stuart
It’s usually a good value. At $529 it’s $30 more than earlier promo periods. It’s uncertain whether the price will get better for the holiday season. At this time Home Depot’s 90 day return policy (with some conditions) takes us past Cyber Monday.
So, if you miss the price adjustment window, there’s still the return window if you need to do a return and rebuy.
