Home Depot has new tool deals of the day for 10/20/20, with the selection focused on storage and organizational products.
There are a lot of garage cabinets and shelving products, but also large safes, Milwaukee Packout and Dewalt ToughSystem bundles, and a Milwaukee M18 Fuel cordless vacuum and dust separator bundle.
While the Milwaukee M18 Fuel dual battery vac has the older style motor head and not the new one with Packout-compatible top, it does also work with the new Nexus go-between accessories. The deal looks like a great value if you don’t mind not having Packout or wireless activation capabilities.

There’s also a Stanley 3pc rolling tool box combo for just $70.
I think the deals are worth checking out. The deals of the day end at 3am ET 10/21/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.
Home Depot also has new tool PRO deals of the week, featuring Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ryobi (I guess they can be pro, it’s almost Halloween), and some others.
Some of those power tool deals look to be really good bargains.
Interestingly, they have a Milwaukee M18 starter kit, with charger, 5Ah battery, and 2Ah battery, for $119. Home Depot just launched a new Dewalt starter kit with compact (cheap) charger and similar battery sizes for $199/. I presume the Dewalt deal will be part of their flagship “buy this, get something for free” promo for the Black Friday shopping season. Those are always good bargains, but this contrast in pricing is a good reminder that you don’t really get anything for free.

I’ve seen more pros than you might expect with at least some Ryobi – smaller contractors (read: they buy their own tools) often grab Ryobi for “one-off” jobs where it’s not guaranteed they’ll use it again.

I also see a lot of Ryobi tools for low-use situations, where the contractor might only need it a couple times per job.
One thing Ryobi does right, is their extended warranty, which is I think one way they have gotten a toe hold with contractors around here. If you buy the extended warranty and the tool fails within 12 months, you just trade it in for a new one, no questions asked, no delays, no sending it off. Just walk into Home Depot and walk out with a new tool (or battery, or both) in less than 10 minutes.

The M12 planer plus compact 2.5 ah battery seems like a pretty good deal at $144 total.
