Home Depot kicked off new tool deals of the day (11/6/25), and I think it’s worth a look.
There are some returning tool deals, and also a bunch of new standouts. Today’s deals features Dewalt, Milwaukee, Ridgid, and Ryobi, with a couple of other brands mixed in.
The deals are focused on cordless power tools, power tool accessories, hand tools, and construction supplies. Following are a couple of the highlights from today’s sale.

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Track Saw with 55″ Guide Rail – $369
This bundle gives you the bare tool plunge-cutting saw, plus a 55″ track.
Dewalt Jobsite Table Saw with Folding Stand – $319
You can try your chances at a better Black Friday or Cyber Monday coupon deal, but otherwise I think this price is very good.
Amazon has it for $339 right now, and just the Dewalt table saw for $349. Lowe’s has the saw for $349 and the bundle for $399. Home Depot’s price for just the saw is $429.
Milwaukee M12 Cordless Rivet Tool Kit with Copper Tubing Cutter – $379

Milwaukee M18 Fuel Brushless 14″ Cut-Off Saw Kit – $505
I don’t recall seeing the chop saw discounted like this. Acme has it at $529, and I’m seeing the same at Ohio Power Tool. $529 seems like a good price for the kit, $505 is even better.
Ridgid 18V Cordless Track Saw Kit – $399
This kit gives you the Ridgid track saw, 6Ah Max Output battery, charger, 2x 27.5″ guide rails with connector bars, and track clamp.
Dewalt 20V Max 6-Tool Cordless Power Tool Combo Kit with ToughSystem Tool Box + Impact Wrench – $599
The 6-tool cordless power tool combo kit is a Black Friday special buy at $549. Today’s deal of the day gives you a 1/2″ impact wrench for $50 more.
Besides the impact wrench, the Dewalt cordless combo kit comes with a cordless drill, impact driver, compact reciprocating saw, circular saw, sander, angle grinder, charger, a 2Ah battery, a 6Ah battery, and a ToughSystem rolling tool box. All of the tools have brushless motors.
I always think it’s worth looking through the full list of deals, as the selection is very varied. Not everything is a great value – I’d skip the 2-pack of Stanley tape measures for $19 and instead get the 2-pack of Dewalt magnetic tape measures for $20 – but most are good bargains.

Is the m12 circular saw that comes with an xc 5.0 battery, plus an additional “free” xc 5.0 battery, for $279 a good deal? These batteries are so expensive – how long do they last when not used much? or when used a lot?

I don’t know of anyone, expect Milwaukee fanatics/collectors, that would purchase a m12 circular saw. Just get an m18 if you really want a Milwaukee saw. Or better yet, just buy a worm drive skilsaw and have it for life + give it to a son. A small circular saw like that would be used primarily for framing and imagine the type of wood you would be cutting for studs etc. shitty knotty wood. You want the power for framing. Especially if you using a circular saw which most likely means you would be outside a shop setting and the last thing you want is to find out your little 12v saw can’t cut thru a 2×4 in 1 pass because it’s bogging down…

You don’t need a heavy and bulky work drive saw to cross cut trim boards or a 2×4.

Those small saws are great for cuts like that, plus they can tackle occasional rips too if you’re a little patient

M12 tools aren’t always underpowered. It seems to depend on the particular tool. I haven’t managed to stall my M12 Fuel drill-driver yet, though I do use the big DeWalt for hole saws.

I build a door for a garden today with the latest m12 fuel circ saw. It has to be used with the high output battery for it to work well. I ripped a couple of boards, then crosscut. I also cut 45 degree angles for bracing. The saw works great. My battery ran out and I had a couple of small cuts left so I used a 3ah xc battery and it made the cuts, but I wouldn’t suggest using a regular battery.

And I have the fuel 71/4 circular, usually collecting dust. The m12 lives with my daily tools.

I’ve never had an m12 die on me yet and I’m an infrequent user.
I’ve also never bought an m12 battery; I always get them “free” with kit or bundle.

I have that saw. I bought it a few years ago and I don’t recall the price I paid so I can’t comment on if that’s a good deal or not. But I can say this: it’s my least liked M12 tool. It’s about the same size and weight as an 18V saw of the same blade size though it is much less powerful. Now sure, nobody buys a 5-3/8″ saw for “power”, but even cutting single sheets of plywood or OSB it’s not exactly fast. It’s power hungry too. Most models of M12 batteries will give poor power, poor runtime, or both. I can’t prove this but I suspect that the power demands of that saw killed two of my M12 batteries. Now that said, the 5.0 ah HO batteries you get in that kit are excellent for it. They are the only batteries I’ve used that give good power and runtime in that saw.
My advice would be this: If you’re already on an 18/20V platform then most of the big makers offer this size saw. Get that instead. If you’re buying into a new system then I’d look hard at buying that voltage instead unless you have other tools you want on the M12 system.
I’d only consider this saw if you knew you wanted only one cordless platform and you needed that to be M12 for unrelated reasons. In that case it’s not a bad option because you will need those 5.0 ah HOs if you expect to use the saw a lot.
I have had two M12 battery failures over the years. Both were just past the warranty period, and they occurred with this saw. I’d describe my use as moderate. I think the failures had to do with the power demands of the saw, as the batteries were hot when they failed, and none of my other M12 tools use anywhere near that much power. I don’t think the failures I had were age-related, as I have other M12 batteries which are much older that have no problems.

The current gen M12 circular ( black blade cover ) has only been out about a year.
I did buy and return the old gen one myself after it strained cutting 2x4s.

I had no idea they updated this saw, just the larger models. Just to be clear I checked the model number on mine and it is 2530-20.
