Home Depot has started off the week with a tool deals of the day savings event, featuring select bargains from Dewalt, Milwaukee, Rigid, and Ryobi.
There’s a bit more going on with today’s tool deals of the day than usual.
One of the few Dewalt 20V Max cordless power tool deals is a 6-tool combo kit that went up in price by $30 – it’s usually a $499 special buy, and is now $529.

On the Milwaukee side, there are new cordless power tool deals, including select M12 Fuel brushless ratchet kits, which are typically only discounted as part of bundled. Here, there are discounts on standalone kits, such as the high speed 3/8″ ratchet kit, which I found unusual.
There are other deals worth considering, with a lot of standouts, such as the Milwaukee M18 Fuel track saw with a 5Ah battery. There are a couple of Ryobi deals, including an 18V HP brushless reciprocating saw with 3-battery starter kit for $40 less than the Ryobi Days deal.
I noticed some higher prices on the Milwaukee side as well. For example, their 30pc combination wrench set is $228, which is $9 more than their Black Friday special pricing. It’s been as low as $179 during previous Home Depot tool deals of the day savings events.
It’s worth looking over the deals – there are a lot more new tools and special buys today than usual. There are specialty tools mixed in as well, such as the M18 Fuel cordless rivet tool.
Also be sure to check out the PRO tool deals of the week – I’m seeing some good bargains there, such as the Milwaukee M12 Fuel 2-tool combo kit with 2 extra batteries for $199.
The tool deals of the day end at 3am ET 8/5/25 unless supplies sell out sooner, and the PRO tool deals of the week end at 3am ET 8/11/25 unless supplies sell out sooner.

” such as the Milwaukee M12 Fuel 2-tool combo kit with 2 extra batteries for $99.” I believe you mean $199.
The new Milwaukee M12 promotions are out now too with 2 3.0 batteries: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-M12-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-XC-Extended-Capacity-3-0-Ah-Battery-Pack-2-Pack-48-11-2412/203630471
They Ryobi 18v 6 tool starter kit for $213 seems like a good deal if you need a new set: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-6-Tool-Combo-Kit-with-1-5-Ah-Battery-4-0-Ah-Battery-Charger-and-Titanium-Drill-Bit-Set-22-Piece-PCL1600K2-A972202/334547470

The deals of the day ended yesterday, but the Pro deals of the week are still ongoing.

Stuart –
“ I ***notices*** some higher prices on the Milwaukee side as well.”

Moving stock before the tariffs hit and the stores experience major slowdowns.

Can you speak a bit to the Milwaukee Track Saw pricing and when we might enter “good deal” territory?
It’s been on my wishlist, but have been waiting for a “good price” on the saw/track combo with the carrying packout case just being a bonus for me. Have dozens of batteries at this point and think I’d love the saw, but you can’t really use it without the tracks.
Stuart
Promos on the track saw are rare. The tool-only saw is $429, and so $449 with a battery seems good.
There are not a lot of promos on it. And if you want the customized Packout tool box, you have to buy the kit, and that’s never discounted (or maybe almost never and I miss it).
This is one of those tools that you buy when you need it, wait a while and hope a coupon discount offer comes along that it’s not excluded from, or there’s a bundle that you feel good about.
Some retailers have bundle savings where you buy the saw and a guide rail together for less than they would cost separately, and that can be a good value if you don’t want a bundled battery or full kit.
Scotty.
The Ryobi recip saw bundle is showing out of stock as of 11:30 PDT

The track saw deal is decent, but tool + battery without a charger is a little spiteful. I went with the Metabo HPT as a better value, but I understand some people already have big Team Red investment.
I’ve also been watching that combo wrench deal but it hasn’t gotten below $200 in a while. I gave up and ordered some Facoms.

On the Deals of the Week, the M12 FUEL 12V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Stubby 3/8 in. Impact Wrench with 3.0 Ah Battery Pack (2-Pack) appears to be a good deal… if you have a charger already.

In today’s HD deals, 8/5/25, I see a lot of Husky garage storage systems. While the 25% off may be good, I just can’t move past these massive all black systems that would make for a very dark garage. I know that part of my objection is connected to my geriatric eyes and my need for more light, but I also lean toward a more cheerful color in general.
To each his own. 🌞

Glad to see Toolguyd back up! That WP error had me worried!
Wish HD had deals on the Husky or “edsal” made shelving/racking.
If anyone can find the single shelf racking addon for an “edsal” shelving… looks like Husky, Muscle Rack, .. I can only find a three shelf via Amazon and I only need ONE shelf (two horizontal sections with three shelf cross members and metal wire shelf).

I, like Stuart, don’t live near a Menards…

I just ordered the Milwaukee
SHOCKWAVE Impact Duty Drill & Drive Set (21-Piece) for $14.97 with free delivery:
https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwaukee-SHOCKWAVE-Impact-Duty-Drill-Drive-Set-21-Piece-48-32-5163/332310541#overlay
Seems like a good deal. Although included on today’s “Special Buy of the Day”, the offer is good through next Sunday.
HD preposterously claim “$90+ VALUE If Purchased Separately”, but for $14.97 I can put up with their nonsense.

Ryobis older top brushless blower 40v 730 cfm is on sale with 2 4ah batteries for $200. That’s cheaper than the tool only was a few months ago.

I love the Milwaukee weed whacker tool for the M18.
I see that there are different models and I’m not sure which one would be appropriate for me (5’ 1”) and fine one that isn’t bloody expensive.

Not sure if this one is Home Depot pricing or Milwaukee vagueness in item descriptions. I was looking at the M18 metal saw 2782-20 and found two seemingly identical items. Bare tool listed at $279 but # 2782-20-48-40-4070 listed at $269 and appeared to have an extra ferrous blade. I ordered the $269 version and sure enough got an extra 30 tooth blade in blister pack. The only indication in the description was the part # and one picture showing the extra blade. So for $10 less you get an additional $40 blade. One is in the box with the tool and one separately packaged.

Welcome to Home Depot math, where they occasionally have discounted bundles that reward savvier shoppers. I’ve given up trying to make sense of it. You’ll sometimes see similar bundles as deals of the day or week, and less often as part of their regular catalog.

Apparently they have zip code math too!!! I’d been eyeballing a $289 multi function ladder for the last week or so and would’ve probably bought it tomorrow. Thursday a friend mentioned he was looking for one and I mentioned it. He looked on his phone and it pulled up for $229 at a store about 10 minutes further away!!!
