Weird. They seem to be selling a lot of “empty thermoformed trays” with pictures of tools in them. Is it actually just the tray for sale?

Correct, those are just the trays, no tools included unless it specifically mentions them.

I happened to find the Vaughn hammer deal a few days ago on Amazon, I was looking for a new hammer and the deal seemed to good to pass up. Looks like it’s back to $29.99 again.

If you’ve already received the hammer, what are your impressions of it? I have a similarly styled Vaughan ball pein, and have been pretty satisfied with it.
It does look like the Amazon-fulfilled seller sold out of their $9 hammer supply. A shame, but maybe they’ll restock at one point.

My hammer showed up today, for $9.99 I am very impressed. It seems to be a typical Vaughn quality hammer labeled “Made in USA.” Reading some of the reviews on Amazon I wasn’t sure what to expect but it is a framers hammer with the waffle face. For the price I think this may be one of the best deals I have come across on Amazon in a while.
