Itso Plastic Storage Trays

We have a lot of small tools and parts laying around, and have been actively searching for good storage solutions to help get everything in order. Some of the better products that we’ve been trying out are these plastic trays by Itso.

We picked up several of these shallow Itso trays and a few deep trays at our local Target store for about $4 apiece, $5 for the deep ones. Our one complaint is that the sides of the trays buckled inwards, but that doesn’t seem to affect their performance.

The trays fit well into tool chest and cabinet drawers, and are the perfect size to hold small loose tools such as deburring tools, punches, cold chisels, and the sort. The deep trays are about three times the height of the shallow ones, and can hold bigger and bulkier tools. Actually, one of our deep trays isn’t even holding any tools – it’s the perfect size for a makeshift parts cleaner bath.

It appears that Target is only selling these Itso trays in-store, but if you want to buy them online, there are a few styles available at Amazon.

May I recommend the dollar store for trays like these? Even some made in USA ones. Especially if you’re going to use it to clean parts.
They have some decent ones with stiffer plastic that doesn’t buckle

    Sir or Madam:
I was wondering if you might help me out with some information. My sons in laws and I do some enging work from time to time and I was wondering if it was still possible to find Engine overhaul organization trays or not? These trays had a place for the pistons, main caos, piston caps, plus a bin for all the bolts in the engine,Oil pan,Intake, head, etc…
