Deal of the Day: Kershaw USA-Made Leek Folding Knives for $30 (12/16/16)

Kershaw Leek Onion Knife Blades Deployed Front

I have a very strong liking for my Kershaw Leek folding knives (reviewed here). I own pricier knives, some costing several times the Leek’s typical $30-something price, but I see no reason to part with them.

If you’ve never had a “nice” pocket knife before, perhaps try a Leek. It’s got a 3″ blade, which is usefully long and comfortably short.

Most of the Leek models are on sale for $30 – a great price – and there are some fancier ones costing a little more.

These knives have assisted opening mechanisms, which means you provide some power to open them, and a spring takes it the rest of the way. They are NOT automatic knives, but be sure to check the rules of your locality before purchasing or carrying the knife.

The Leek is made in the USA, and is one of the best values I’ve seen when it comes to pocket knives.

Today’s Amazon deal of the day ends at 3am ET on 12/17/16, unless supplies run out sooner.

I have only owned and used the stainless steel handled versions, but the anodized aluminum handled models have called to me before. For $30, I’m picking up a teal version.

Correction: I owe it to you guys to check out the aluminum-handled version. Yep, that’s the only reason I’ve ordered one. A teal Leek is on the way!

Interested in a different Kershaw knife? There’s also a $10 off $50+ coupon on select Kershaw knives – but it doesn’t stack on already-discounted Leek.

The Knockout is nice (I bought one). The Blur is popular. The Link is also a good model.

I just bought one of those the other day and could have saved 10.00$ if i waited just 15 hours on amazon.

Also found a really good deal on the milwaukee m18 jobsite radio at acme tools 12 days of deals.

    http://www.acmetools.com/shop/tools/DiscountDetailsDisplayView?code=12+Days+of+Christmas+2890-20-10075077&langId=-1&storeId=10751&catalogId=10551&productId=3074457345617298908

Free 5.0 starter kit with 99$ radio purchase.
Thinking about buying on should I?

Email Amazon to see what they can do for you. Especially if it didn’t ship yet, or you didn’t receive it yet, they’ll be more likely to give you a price adjustment. It doesn’t hurt to try.

I’m working on a post about the Acme deal. In short – YES, it’s a very good deal.

Wow, that sold out fast. I was checking final details and had to trash the post.

I’m hoping that people were buying for their own use, and not for resale. Maybe they didn’t have a lot of bonus items available.

yeah no kidding im tired of seeing people resale the tools from kits on ebay and amazon, luckily I bought it. getting the radio for my dad and keeping the battery and charger for myself don’t need the radio considering I bought it for 50$ at HD I’m heavily invested in the m18/ m12 line.

I LOVE MY BLURS. I think i have 4 of them, i had a leek but tragically lost it because of the slipperiness of the handle.

It might depend on the particular model. I added 2 to my cart earlier and the discount did not stack.

OK – I’ll see what comes
It was a bit odd – the $10 off did not appear when I added the 2 to my cart.
It only showed up when I was in the final throes of the purchase and about to click on confirm

Sorry, I meant to say that it didn’t stack or appear at checkout.

The way these deals work, the discounts don’t appear until you’re at checkout, and they show up in the sidebar payment, tax, and shipping details box.

Snap-On re-brands these and sells them for roughly a $100ish.
