Kreg Toolboxx Pocket Hole Jig Kit

For what looks to be a limited time, Kreg is offering a premium pocket hole jig bundle that includes a a number of smaller accessory kits, a pocket hole screw kit and 22″ cantilever tool box. They also put together a fastener kit with the same 15-bin organizer and 800+ pocket hole screw kit for those that already own a Kreg or other brand’s pocket hole jig.

The larger KTC5000 jig bundle includes the Kreg K4MS Jig Master System, a Kreg Jig Mini, a Kreg Jig Micro Drill Guide, and a right angle clamp. It also includes everything from the KTC22 pocket hole screw assortment – 835 screws of various sizes and styles, and a Toolboxx.

The Toolboxx is not sold separately, but it looks to be a rebranded Keter 22-inch cantilever organizer. You can find these organizer toolboxes at almost every major home improvement retailer under various house brands. They also make a smaller 18-inch organizer.

That complete Master set-up is really nice in terms of portability and what it comes with, although I’m wondering if you could piece the separate components together for cheaper and use an off-brand toolbox. All I know is that if I didn’t already have a pocket-hole jig set-up, I’d probably jump on this b/c it would keep everything compact/organized and allow easy portability from one job site to the next when building/finishing cabinetry in new home construction.

I noticed the Kreg ToolBoxx in a Woodcraft advertisement last fall, even went to the local store to check it out. Since I already have the Kreg master system, I only wanted the toolboxx. It’s not available separately. I found a Keter 18″ Organizer at Northern Tool for $18 on sale, removed a couple of containers (which are used for other things in my shop) and everything fits, including my Kreg screws, a couple of extra pocket hole accessories and extra drill/driver bits. If you have a Kreg system, the Keter 18″ or 22″ is an excellent choice to keep all the components in one place and makes grab and go easy.

The toolboxx is also available at Sears stores under the Craftsman label for about $25, and I believe the 22″ is available as a Husky re-brand.
