Leatherman Rebar Multi-Tool and EDC Deals for October 2025 Prime Big Deal Days

Several Leatherman multi-tools are on sale for the ongoing Prime Big Deal Days, and the discounts are definitely worth a look.

There are 3 Leatherman multi-tools on sale – the budget-minded Bond in (4) color options, the tried and true semi-premium Rebar in (6) color options, and the FREE P2 with magnetic-locking tools and features.

The Rebar is the quintessential multi-tool, with pliers, replaceable wire cutting blades, two knife blades, a wood saw, file, screwdrivers, and more.

It’s a great tool. The stainless version is on sale for $60, the other colors are $67.46.

Leatherman Bond Multi-Tool – Save 25%

The Bond is a more affordable entry priced Leatherman, with fewer tools and features. It’s on sale for $45 for the stainless version, and $52.46 for the other color options.

Leatherman FREE P2 Multi-Tool Open

Leatherman Free P2 Multi-Tool – Save 30%

Around the time Leatherman launched the Arc multi-tool (see Leatherman Arc Review: a Nearly Perfect Multi-Tool), they made the FREE series tools Amazon exclusives. I’m still a fan of the P2 and P4 tools.

With this deal, the P2 is discounted to $91, which is a bargain considering the regular price of $130.

Leatherman 21pc Multi-Tool Screwdriver Bit Set

Amazon says you save 45%, but I found the same bit set at Acme Tools for $25. Leatherman’s store price is $40. These bits are handy if you have a Leatherman Wave or other multi-tool with low profile 1/4″ hex screwdriver bit holder.

I would be interested in buying a Leatherman (or similar), but I always get overwhelmed at the different options and which I should choose.

Gerber Suspension NXT, which is $30.36 right now for Prime Day. https://www.amazon.com/Gerber-Suspension-NXT-Multi-Tool-Pocket-30-001364/dp/B07DD69QN3/?tag=toolguyd-20

A tool like that will help you learn your preferences, and can continue to serve in a kitchen tool drawer, car glovebox, garage go-to drawer, or similar should you upgrade to something else in the future.

The Rebar is an excellent tool, but you might want to use the knife more than the pliers. The price for Leatherman models with outside-accessible tools is a lot higher.

The FREE P2 is a great choice, but perhaps not for one’s first Leatherman or multi-tool.

The Gerber I mentioned isn’t perfect, but I think it’s a very good starting point at just over $30. The next alternative at similar pricing would involve generic brands, but those tools can be hit or miss. The new Dewalt is discounted to $40 – https://toolguyd.com/dewalt-multi-tool-mt20-launch/ , and while I’m optimistic I cannot vouch for it.

The nxt and the dewalt are honestly junk. There are better options out there.

Still have my leatherman squirt (I won from toolguy’d!) on my keychain.
I wish there were more wire strippers/electrically inclined multitools.

Really? I had to look it up. I ordered that for you in… 2013!! Thanks for sticking around! And it’s still going strong?

I wish I bought more Squirts for myself – I’ve got the scissors model somewhere. I think. Was $26 at the time, now even the Micra is $50.

Gerber had an electrical-focused multi-tool a while back too, the Groundbreaker, with a wire stripper. https://toolguyd.com/gerber-groundbreaker-multi-tool/ It was discontinued as some point.

There are several electrical focused multi tools no longer in production. Besides the Squirt ES4, and the Gerber Groundbreaker, there was also the Klein’s 44216 – Electrician’s Hybrid Plier Multi-Tool. Bear and Son produced an Electrician Multi tool as did CRESCENT TOOLZALL.
