Leatherman Skeletool

A week ago, we posted about a new Leatherman Skeletool deal where the price dropped to $35 and then $34, a new low. After a day, the price jumped back up to $38. Well, we checked this morning, and the price dropped back down, this time to $32.50 with free shipping!

We’ve never seen the Skeletool priced so low, but are we aren’t complaining since we are buying one or two more to give away as gifts!

Now they’re down to $32.46. I’m definitely putting in for one and adding another to my shopping cart to see how much further the price may drop. Thanks again for the heads up Stuey!

Maybe If I didn’t already have 3 perfectly good Leathermans already. Plus I noticed that the Skeletool in the Amazon picture and the picture in the description show two different blades. One is a combination serrated blade and the other isn’t. What’s up with that?

I know this is off topic, but I just noticed you’re holding your hammer backwards in your logo. LOL!

When the Skeletool first came out, it had a plain edge blade and the premium CX model had a combination blade of slightly better steel. Presumably, Leatherman listened to users who requested the CX be made with a plain edge blade and then switched the Skeletool to a combo blade.

I noticed the swap a while ago and posted about it – will dig up the link when I get back to a computer as I am mobile at the moment.

Darn, but thanks for the update!

My advice for those that missed out is to watch it closely. Amazon sometimes yo-yos their pricing, so it may drop back down again today or soon.
