Lowe’s has this Kobalt Pliers Set at an Even Lower Price

Kobalt Knipex Knock-Off Pliers 3pc Set from Lowes

Lowe’s dropped the price of this Kobalt 3pc pliers set down to $19.98.

This set comes with a pliers wrench, multi-position slip joint-type pliers, and mini adjustable pliers.

It’s basically a set of Knipex-inspired pliers.

I bought a set to test out but haven’t put it through any work yet. I was fairly confident in my purchase, based on the experiences I had with Lowe’s holiday season pliers gift set from last year.

$20 for 3 pliers is a good price, and they don’t feel cheap. No, they’re definitely not Knipex quality, but they do feel to be a step above the average homeowner-type tool quality we can expect from Lowe’s Kobalt brand.

The price is now in “we want these out of stores” territory, down from $25. I snagged mine for $20 because my store had the display mislabeled at $19.98 at the start of the holiday season.

Lowe’s says the savings end 12/29/25, but the same price will likely be extended past that. Or, if they still have plenty in stores, they might drop the price a little more.

Buy it at Lowe’s

The Kobalt 3pc plier set is also available online and is eligible for free shipping (the free shipping order minimum depends on your membership level).

But if you’re not convinced, I think this is a “hold in your hand” type of tool.

I bought the set just to test out, but might keep the pliers on account of their mini sizing.

I like seeing this side of Lowe’s, where their Kobalt holiday tools are practical and well-made, rather than being odd gimmicks.

This is tempting at $20. I have the 7” Knipex pliers wrench so I’m mainly looking at the smaller two and then I get an extra at the size I have as a bonus.

I also grabbed a set for the toolbox in my truck. $20 works for me. Here’s a Kobalt/Knipex side by side from Last Best Tool:

last year it was a 2 piece set, they sold so few of them that in jan/feb I was able to get them for $3 and change for the set. I will probably wait these out as well

When these were originally listed online before the stores set them, they were $20. Then the price went up to $25 and the stores set them and they were ‘on sale’ for $20.

They showed up at $25. My store had the display marked at $20, but they rang up at $25. They were $25 online for most of the season until recently.

Lowe’s has a familiar holiday season deal pattern.

Wait for the post-holiday sale window. Guarantee you that it will be a $9.98

I bought a couple sets of these for updated car toolsets. I’ll probably buy a couple more for gifts at this price – they’re the right bang for the buck!
