Lowes Summer 2025 Launch Teaser

Lowe’s sent me a heads-up this morning that they’ve launched a new limited edition version of an iconic work accessory.

It will only be available for a limited time, with customers urged to “run not walk” to grab one.

Behold:

Lowes Project Source Bucket in Pink

Lowe’s has launched their Project Source 5-gallon bucket, in soft pink.

I’m told that there will be limited availability in stores and online.

Price: $5

See it at Lowe’s

You’ll probably see this abuzz on social media. It looks like they already sold out online, but a restock might be on the way.

Too bad the buckets are sold out online, but I hope my HF bucket will look like one after a few years? You see, no hate on the Festool guys, but I bet that they would not in a million years would be able to come up with that idea. It’s take a special kind of people to come up with the idea to sit on their tool.

It’s a dig on the Nicki Minaj “high school challenge”. I chuckled when I saw it.

Didn’t know Dewalt made a coffee pot. Just found something else to buy.

I complained about my electric cords getting stolen at job sites. My wife ordered me two hideous pink cords. I have had them for over 10 years now. Yes, there are some jokes, but theft has been zero. Funny, I may order her a few pink buckets.

I really wish more tools were offered in pink, or pink camo.

Anything that tends to grow legs on job sites, suddenly doesn’t when treated with the color.

So silly that that works. But might as well weaponize some other people’s insecurity.

Highly likely I’m just slow here…for the Lowe’s bucket, why does it say “Project Source”? Is that the actual brand of the bucket? OEM? Why doesn’t it just say Lowe’s? Also seems like the could have partnered with a non-profit or something to make this more purposeful. sigh, but it’s Lowe’s so why am I not surprised that it’s half-cooked.

Sold out at my local Lowe’s. They seemed annoyed I asked.

Lowe’s always seems to have tens of employees on the floor (more than they have customers, usually) who either keep asking if you need help or seem annoyed that you dared enter their sanctum. I’m not sure how they continue to be in business.

Almost as good as the mini buckets at Menards.

I wonder how many takes it took to get the Festool pick right.

Maybe my wife will like to go to Lowe’s now, not sure if a pink bucket will be enough to convince her though. She’s more of a red bucket with a bullseye logo kinda person
