Make Magazine Volume 21

Just a heads-up, the 21st volume of Make: Technology on Your Time has recently been published and is now available for purchase online and at newstands

We just now ordered a copy for ourselves via Amazon and then decided to spring for a subscription as well. The newstand price is $15 per volume, and while we’ve been enjoying prices of $11-12 per volume on Amazon, the subscription price of ~$9 per issue ($35 for four) is a bit better.

You can view a full table of contents for volume 21 via Make’s website.

Is Make Magazine, connected to the instructables website? I have looked at Make several times at the bookstore, and there was never quite enough to make me buy a subscription, yet the projects, seem to appear on both sites.

As far as I’m aware, they’re not affiliated, but some projects may be cross-submitted by the authors.

Some issues are better than others, but I don’t think I’ve been disappointed yet. As for the relatively high price, I’ve always assumed it was necessary given Make’s minimal advertisements. I just hope that they don’t get greedy and start pasting ads everywhere like many other magazines do these days.
